2h vs Left Axe

Decision time on my sb which way im gona spec, so i would like a bit of input form people who actually rvr with them, particularly those who have used both specs.
Since you lose 40% dmg soon as you equip LA i was considering going 2h. Slow 2h for pa and fast 2h for melee.

Is it worth sacrificing that dmg and speccing la.

Yeah was just trying to find something positive about 2handers

My sb only carries a 2hander in his inv for pve

Would also be my opinion since 2H isn't optimal against other assassins....However, it is quite handy in killing caster on keep walls....

2-handed PA rocks pretty hard in keepfights, earned a lot of sweet arpees against hibs when they took and defended Fensalir.

I can dis-prove that theory - I prefer fighting Infils compared to NSs...NSs evade WAY too much against a 2h swing. I've beaten infils of a much higher RR before (Raisen the RR9 jumped my critblade - fine, he messed up his PA, but he fell over before me!)

Casters = relatively easy (just dont pick on Gritzy...nasty lifetap, mezz, etc etc...)
Healers = the same...just watch out for the Hibernian healing classes - if it doesn't insta-mezz you, it's PBTing everything you swing at it...if it's neither of them, it's insta-healing itself every 10 secs!
