Catsby can't wait for the next, 28 months later, 28 years later, 28 decades later.... because by then, Catsby will most likely be dead.

I loved, loved, loved 28 days later.

However, I'm a bit scared that this sequel will be a bit shit.

Will wait and see.

28 Days Later was clearly the best Zombie film ever.. and as a Londoner the empty London camera shots were amazing, very eerie and well done.

Can't wait for this ;)

I think thats the reason why 28 Days Later was such a hit, it took what we knew and turned it onto its head.. what freaked you out more? the zombies chasing them, or the overhead shot of the M25 being quiet both ways? :eek6:

I dont hold any hope of 28 Weeks Later being any better, purely as it's been done.. now if they had used Paris or something, then it might of been better... get rid of the frenchies

:p

I thought they died of starvation after a few days?!
Not sure they concluded that? Besides, some zombies will find people to eat etc. :p

Known since the day IMDB had it up, never seen the trailer or anything for it though. Hope it's as good as the first one, will go see it on release night.

28 Weeks Later was a good film.

I think the ending felt more scary and claustraphbic(sp) than the first one.

Though some stuff in it was just, odd :p

Thats because the ending for the first was hacked on later. There was a different ending at the end of the credits when I watched 28 Days later on Film4 recently, and its far better.

Jim dies of his gunshot wound. The world isn't saved.

looking forward to seeing this, the only thing i dont like tho is the idea that the yanks had to come and save the day, thats the way its shown in the trailers

lots of explosions etc which isnt the same as 28 days later, the first one was proper british which made it that little bit better

Was impressed with this meself, from the synopsis it looked like the standard "Oh looks the army contained it all but alas! the disease re-emerges and wreaks havoc" but it was very well done, increasing the scale yet not losing the plot.

I especially liked
The fact that there's no central cast as such, no one person who magically survives the entire film unscathed, yet not losing you with who is who and what the feck they're doing there.

Although something I didn't like so much

Robert Carlyles mystical clever zombie who doesn't seem to go after people at first sight (the scene before the blitz) and is able to hide from the firebombing in order to attack his children and their guardian at the end, ensuring another possible sequel (this point possibly makes my first one somewhat moot but meh)

Maybe that's just me

Oh, and, the actress who plays Tammie distracted me in every scene with her eyes, darnit >.<

Jeysus what a film. The opening 10 minutes were probably the most intense thing I've ever seen. I was literally on the edge of my seat, gripping the arms.

The helicoper blades bit was a big nod to Dawn of the Dead, and a fucking great scene

Fucking great film. Go and see it, you'll love it.

I did notice one zombie at the end who looked a bit like the black bird in the first film - is it the same actress?

Saw this on the opening night and thought it was fantastic, had a fair bit more realism to it than the first.

See, THAT would have been a cool twist :D

It was a very mediocre film, no where near as good as the first. It's also obvious the Americans are in charge of this one.

Your website looks nice SheepCow.

I forgot all about this film, can't wait to see it now even more. I might end up getting the DVD though.
