Yep - it's a British film so must be bollocks.

Well I wouldn't say that it was crap, but it's certainly nothing to write home about.

It wasn't great, nothing like what I expected after seeing the trailer really.

British films aren't always crap.

In fact lots of them are very very good.

You hate all british films so your opinion doesnt count!!

There was a film review a few nights ago on the TV and they said it was mediocre...

So I wont be going to watch it...

Saw it on Thursday. I'd say it was a good idea but poorly done. Though i did like the camera work.

Mister Ross from Film 2002, talking about 28 days later:

"If you spend the whole time marvelling at the direction, then the chances are the film's not actually that good"

and then in summary, if I may paraphrase:

"It's bowlocks"

Well, I thought it was great. You are all wrong.

Proper discussion...

Well, it looked good, and it was certainly disturbing. Its been a long time since there has been a good zombie movie.

Watch it, is all I say.

I dont think its a remake...

I think they got their ideas from post-apocalypse fantasy TV programs though...

I thought it was very good, had sum good tension, although it left you wanting to know more about what had happeend during the first 28 days etc

Its not a remake, but its kind of like a cross between day of the triffids and resident evil.

Acting is fine. although the main character needed more to him, the direction is superb, as is teh camera work, seing a desolated empty london gthat isnt CG and full of shitty dragons is also "nice", seeing Manchester in flames because " no firecrews to put them out" was also good.

Dont go in expecting a fuckin super wonderful spiffing film, its a "low" budget zombie flick, but its one done by a british director, with a british cast etc, so its got no fucking annoying gun toting yanks in it.

And the zombies run and jump etc

I was thinking, if the virus causes rage, why didn't the infected fight eachother? And how did the infected know who was infected and who wasn't? hmm

yea that thought crossed my mind as well, i guess the virus's primary role is to spread though so maybe the virus makes it so that the people try and attack non infected people in order to spread further, that is when thye arnt busy eating them.

Want to see it, will probably be going at the end of the week. I saw that preview CD too, and the shots of London totally deserted looked amazing. I was scanning the background, however, just in case there was some out of focus traffic moving about :/
Will be interesting to see it on the big screen.
