Regarding last night's episode:

I had a feeling that Palmer would be back in some form, shame they didn't bring him back a bit earlier though

Where the hell is CTU getting their field agents from, they are the most inept people on the planet - I cant think of one agent that has gone out to do a job with Jack and actually lived - 4 examples - these are just the ones that spring to mind :)
1) 1st or 2nd episode the agent jack has a fight with in the car park, loses and gets handcuffed - then the agent gets shot and killed by the guy they are pursuing from a car.
2) Recovering the harddrive - agent knifed in the neck or something by the pretend FBI agent.
3) Reaching the powerplant to recover the football agent dies as soon as he gets of the helicopter almost.
4) 2 agents accompanying Chloe both killed by one guy on his own.

Don't get me wrong I'm loving the series as usual I just find it amusing all their agents seem to die I'm surprised they have any left :)

Completely agree - the thing that makes 24 so great is that it's rarely, if ever, predictable. However this is beginning to test that theory. From the moment Chloe went off to the house with 2 field agents for protection, it was so totally obvious that they were going to die. To quote family guy

<Kirk> Ok, the away team will be myself, Sulu, Mr Spock and Ensign Ricky
<Ricky> Aw crap.

The ending of the episode though - man, go Chloe!

if your referring to what I said then feck orf! It in no way gives anything away. All I am saying is some unspecified bird used an M4 to much delight.

Latest episode was great

After the attack on the Consulate (I think it's called), you notice one of the agent's has been wounded and is bleeding on the back of his neck. So they may be able to run some tests on the blood, if any was on the floor. Would be funny if China nuked them after they avert a terrorist threat. Also the Paul vs John scenes was great!

Paul Vs JAck scene was very good imo. The consulate scene was poor hoever. It was almost as if the writer/director had been playing splinter cell too much. Jack is a second rate Sam Fisher. Again though, I must say, another extremely dissapointing episode. While it has had it's moments, series 4 is a total snore fest. CATCH SOMEONE WITH USEFUL LEADS FGS.

another tired effort of an episode imo. nothing new, nothing original, very very boring.

I rated season 3 as my favourite (after 1 for the novelty value). I realisitically think they really need some new material now after watching 4.

Depending on how you look at it, Harbeeb Marwan (spelling?) is either the most amazing terrorist mind ever, or the most pathetic excuse for a terrorist ever to walk the Earth. He has all these amazing schemes and plans, but they never seem to work...

For all intents and purposes an extremely good ending to the season.

JACK = TEH DEAD!

Semi spoiler:
Also Fox has renewed 24 for two more seasons. I enjoyed the last two episodes.

They have said that Jack is not exempt from being killed, so perhaps Curtis may take over. Unless the new season involves the Chinese government forgiving Jack. As the missile would have most likely killed them, although no one would have known that in advance

Bah, how silly of me:

I actually thought that the missile might hit its target (not LA) and do some serious killing. Anyhow, I thought they could have created a bit more drama by having a bit of a chase with the planes and the missile, but hey ho what do I know.

Jack just seems to get shit lumped on him all the time. I mean, why the guy hasn't been given a mahooosive bank account several times over is beyond me. I thought the last shot was excellent though, and should set up the next season very well.

Did anybody else laugh out loud when Curtis punched that woman in the face?

Anyhow, all I have to look forward to now is Lost, and that ends soon as well! Boo hoo, roll on S5 of The Sopranos!

Yeah, smacking Mandy cracked me up :D. Oh, and did anyone else get The Incredible Hulk tv show music in their head in the last seen of 24?
