I'd consider that a fairly major spoiler if you ask me...

Before this season started there was an interview with current and former cast members on the offical 24 website.

Both Michelle and Tony will be in this series.

I'm not reading that spoiler!

Anyhow, I just watched the latest episode and it looks like this serious is going to be weighted in favour of action rather than office politics. Don't read the spoiler below until you've watched it.

Yay for Tony Almeda

kinda confused at how he makes his entrance, by the end of last series they gave us the picture he was going to jail. so did he just get kicked out like chloe?

I reckon Jack probably used his muscle with Palmer and had the president offer him a presidential pardon.

He must be stalking Jack to because he managed to make it to them in about 7 minutes, still good to see an old face, I wonder if he'll make it through this series, killing him off would be a big shock, and those 24 writers do like their big shocks.

Don't you think maybe Tony went to Jail and is now out. Isn't it supposed to be 3-5 years between season 3 and 4?

It's been 3 years yeah, it was supposed to be like a mega ultra life sentence or something though - I'm sure we'll find out in the next episode

The 'mole' twist was pretty predictable. Pretty action packed episode, which was great. Plus we had the gaps filled regarding Tony+Michelle. She's the head of district now I believe they said? Can expect to her see perhaps. Wonder if Tony will become head of CTU again in some bizarre twist involving an incapable of leading Erin? :p

Division, I believe he said. Glad to see they're not stretching out this mole business too much, it would have been most annoying if it went on much longer. H'ray for Edgar!

I have a suspicion that Tony will either get killed off (becoming a martyr), or be welcomed back into the fold. I thought the episode wasn't really going to be that memorable, just plot stuff and character building, but fucking hell in the last ten minutes, jesus. They don't half know how to ramp up the suspense. The composer deserves a beer for the music, its timed perfectly

heh class work by the geek. and tom, the main 24 web site has carlos bernard listed as a regular now (first series he was special guest star for all 24 eps) from what i read form a few spoiler sites before series 4 started was that he was not gona be back, but he has a huge fan base and the up roar about him going to jail made em change thier minds.

Is anyone getting bored now?

Just watched ep. 10 and in all honesty it was shit. The last 4 have been a complete let down.

Unless the terrorists make an attempt on 'Air Force One' I will be very upset come the end of the series.

I know about air force one which was completely ridiculous. I just have the feeling that 'president in the air' = 'viable target' (in 24 land).

I'm not actually expecting anyone to board the plane however as that would be silly.

Congrats on the promotion, shame about the demotion Tony, welcome back Michelle. Although her return for that role was pretty predictable. The EMP twist rocked too. Enough said!

Blimey, what an episode. Talk about tension!

Why oh why do they always attack something dead on the hour! FFS ATTACK IT AT HALF PAST SO WE DON'T HAVE TO SIT AND WAIT FOR A WEEK!!!!!

About the end of this episode:

I reckon AF1 is ok, I think the missile hit one of the other planes and AF1 will be damaged in some way. If you play it back slowly, you only see flames and explosions outside AF1, you don't actually see anything of the inside of AF1 being damaged. I reckon there might be a nice dogfight and a very tense emergency landing :)

there is no way AF1 is badly hurt. Cue rescue mission. Can I just say "I AER NOSTRADAMUS"

ARRHGGHG!!! FUCKING YANKS! Why cant they kill the president? It would have been so much more fun. The whole series is about the skill of CTU then the president only survives because of sheer luck - *****. Grumble moan moan. Well done leggy.
