Jack breaking down was just great. Maybe he's had to many "longest days of his life" :) Can't wait for Series 4. I rekon they're all be back. Tony coming out of jail to help out. Chase working on the floor with kim and probably Jack with a new addiction. An addiction for beanie babies ;)
I cant wait for kim to be working undercover in a brothel

Starts 9/1/04!

*gibbers*

I can't wait! BSG will start up again, as will Enterprise, Lost, and surely The Sopranos season 6 won't be far away?

Nice to hear, although I've begun to hate waiting a week for the next episode :(

I'm gonna wait till its all over and download the lot in one go, I cant stand having to wait a week for the next episode. I dont mind so much with BSG and Enterprise etc as they dont really have the same cliffhangers, 24 sends me nuts.

I can wait, I know how to wait.. (WoW :()

Just finished watching the first two. Can't wait for 3 and 4 tomorrow night.

Anyone else thinking that the breifcase is something to do with launch codes maybe? Could be a bit to obvious though and there'd be no reason for one guy to have it on a train.

I hate the way that bittorrent is really quick most of the time, but when it's something you really really want, 240401 and 0402 for example, it just potters about like a granny on a sunday.

So annoying.

BT got both for me in 4 hours.

I'm not sure whats in the briefcase. Certainly not launch codes, that would stretch the show's credibility beyond belief. I'm thinking they're going to shut down the entire internet, and all the USA's electronic systems, everything, leaving it entirely open to conventional attack?

I also thought it was really disappointing how Ronnie got killed off so early. He could have been a fantastic character, another bitch-ass tough-guy like Jack :)

Also, it was doing my nut in trying to remember where I'd seen the guy who
finds the hidden internet stuff
, until I realised he was the kid who figured out how to kill the Martians in Mars Attacks!

Outstanding start to an amazing show. The cast overhaul is nice but I suspect there will be a few familiar faces very soon.
Considering they are dying or getting captured I won't be surprised
.

Haven't read anything about this season on purpose and am pleasantly surprised. Other than the sopranos this is becoming the only reason to turn on your telly.

*jack is back on form, 2 eps in and he's tortured a suspect, proved everybody wrong and just generally kicked ass.
*driscoll is an annoying bitch
*chloe seems to have had an attitude transplant, shes turned into a nice(ish) person :)

It seems like same shit, different day if you ask me. Jack goes up against the brass and is proven right, yet again. Some people with, some against. Foxy black chick who's power hungry and wants to got to the top by any means necessary.

Far too many similarities to other seasons if you ask me

True but still a good watch,

but one thing gets me, end of 1 and 2 you got a feeling that there were some shadowy figures pulling the strings. like end of series 1 end of last ep a guy on a yacthc is talking on a mobile.

end of series 2 the blond woman gives out a warning to her sister.

did they drop all that stuff or is it all going to tie up in the end?

Great action packed beginning, Jack takes on entire compound of terrorists and wins almost, I take it the secretary of defense used to be in the armed forces or something then (I missed it if they mentioned that), or maybe he just goes paintballing alot.

However another mole in CTU didn't see that one coming  , that place really needs to look into the people it employs alot more.

True.

24 is best watched back to back.

Agree with you nath about the "all too similar" plots but I'm willing to ignore it all based on the fact that nothing makes me bored of FEDERAL AGENT JACK BAUER. The guy is just a slick walking talking action man and he can ruin me from behind anyday. I'm straight btw.

Anyhow, just watched the 6th ep and it was quite interesting, glad to see that the layered twists are starting... never a dull moment and keeps you thinking of the possibilities to come.

Mole? I assume that's what they want you to think. If you listen to the other voice it definitely wasn't middle eastern. I think she may have something to do with that defence company or maybe something entirely different. As a mole would be far too shit.
