20fg hibs on ailinne!

mids.. next time try take the keeps when there's more than 50 hibs on if it's for more than DF... taking Ailinne at 11am is pathetic

we wiped just under 100 albs at relic keep when we had 1 keep left, you were on the relic keep doors...

Was maybe 5fg albs went to hib relic keep when u only had one keep left - I dont' think for one minute it was any kind of "relic raid" - think more than anything we just came for a nosey, just to see wtf was going on with all the keep stuff - certainly we had no rams, no trebs, no organisation and nowhere near enough people. And I'm sure we didn't even get near the doors, although I could be wrong due to me staying as far away as possible cos as soon as the relic keep got into clipping range my frame rate dropped down to about 1fps due to the army of shrooms on the hill up to the doors

fucking headache

things that pissed me off:

#1 i just came on for some arti xp and saw we had 3 keeps left.

#2 albs started getting in on the act tho they were disorganised, just an annoyance at best.

#3 do i have to mention how powerless you can feel with a 2v1 situation and being the lesser populated realm? (i know it probably wasnt intentional and just 'taking advantage')

things that made me happy:

#1 the largest force of hibs arriving at one place that i have seen in over two years

#2 so many people, listening and working together so well

#3 knowing vengeance will be mine

well, considering our guards reported over 90 albs at one point at dagda, we thought we best go clear you out so we took about 50 hibs there and pb'd you down at the relic keep door whcih were most definately being hit

was great fun all day, the only things that spoiled it for me were the girlfriend wanting attention and lagging through a window and dying at the doors so i had to use the corpse summoner so I got no rps whatsoever on the second defence.

Was nice to see so many people turn up and have such an epic battle.

Oh, and i can't wait till frontiers when i can no longer die repeatedly and be interrupted by ae through the walls.

Oh, and nerf shrooms, they are the biggest pain the the arse, although a great target for dropping the hammers of (ex)lag onto.

Was great to see so many hibs coming out to play, although the 5 odd trebs was a little silly and that's before you put the ones up in the keep!!!

every realm does some keeptaking every time of the day

it's not so much taking a keep, as taking almost all hib keeps and then holding them

taking keeps for DF or to reclaim your frontier is fine, but hibs had no chance to defend at all until about 6 CET

granted my times were off, it seemed earlier to me

and i'm pissed off that i couldnt join in
kept ld-ing at anything close to a major fight

but well done to saadyst - he did an amazing job

weird youd think tank classes would jump at the chance to do several hundred damage to masses of targets and rake in some rp at a keep other than just thwacking guard pops

still large numbers of hibs unable/unwilling to follow simple instructions or think they know better so go do their own thing instead

Brilliant job by Saadyst keeping us in order :worthy: My ranger met an ill fate in the lord's room on the first try (end drain from somewhere stopped me rapid firing the middie casters damnit), but I did better on the second run with my druid

Special thanks to Magmatic for providing my druid's only really close shave with death as he valiantly ran (alone!) into Ailinne and PB'd the crap out of all the support standing on a power font in the courtyard! Good thing I read the /bg and moved to the stairs really, got a few rez rp for the guys who hadn't Powerfont + spreadheal is very tasty too, was a laugh seeing my group go full health - near dead - full health - near dead constantly climbing that tower

Here is how it went, Nuclearbomb wanted to grab some alb keeps for farming albs. But since albs never show up in any greater numbers when they dont have relics (and why should they?), I suggested that we should go for Ailinne. Ailinne is by far the hardest keep to grab of all keeps since hibs usually defend it vigourously. We wanted some keep action and the only place we could get any response at all at that time of day was at Ailinne.

Hibs did indeed show up defending it when we took the keep which they wouldnt have at any other keep with so low numbers online. But since hibs were abit slow at trying to take it back we decided to take the other keeps aswell. na nGed hadnt been taken for over 3 months so it was about time we did it

I meant when u had only 1 keep left 5fg albs at your relic keep just to see what was happening. We all got wiped, I logged an alt and did something else. I believe some more albs went back (probably the 90 or so reported) but by then you'd got most of your keeps back anyway
