2008 a good year for games?

A turn-based SF wargame with RPG elements developed by ex-Troika guys using the Source engine

Troika were a legend, pity noone bought enough of their games
(Arcanum, Vampire;the masquerade bloodlines, etc)

Bought Vampire:Masquerade through steam about 6 months ago for something different. A very good game!

if you play vampire make sure you download the FAN MADE PATCH for it. its quite large, and up to version 4.3 i think now (could be wrong),fixes so much stuff, and adds/re-enables stuff from before. so much better than basic patch

and if your feeling really adventurous , play it through as a Malkavian. they are all totally insane, and can see the future, its really fun but very odd
you get a taste of whats to come when you talk to the first guy you meet in game..

I'm so sad that there won't be a sequel to vampire the masquerade. That game was demon.

I'm looking forward to the Vampyre game and the Machinarium game. Woot!
