2 cents to improve RvR

Just my few ideas and 2 cents to improve the RvR experience for all of us and to make it more exciting:

A) Make all buffs self only.
B) Get rid of the "inconsistency" of chars so a tank can quite pass trough me and bash my healer.
C) Remove ALL resists (armor tables related too) and lower (maybe in RvR only) all cc duration to 10 sec max (like Brutalize), lower immunity Timer to 30 secs too.

Any comments?

change all classes hp to have the same 2000HP's remove all buffs/have no spells/no stealth at all so we are all pure melee classes wit same armour/hp's etc.. then we can have 1 big orgy zerg in emain & actually have a big battle wit hack & slash only :p

A) Well no point in playing a support character anymore then. Just make all concentration buffs ranged - range < distance from PK to MG.
B) Collision detection would allow griefing on a massive scale - blocking doorways, merchants etc.
C) Removing resists would make nukers unstoppable. Reduce CC duration? Most CC classes already complain that mezzes etc don't last long enough or get purged too easily. Remove insta mezzes maybe, and restrict high levels of Determination to arms/warrior/champ.

Well u can always stay mezzed most of times and die in secs ;) i have access to Deter 5 just trying to avoid a big headache :D

Now THATs a good suggestion, it would also mean that owning a keep would benfit more as u could park the bot there.

And maybe it would be possible to turn on collision detection between MG and keep door? AFAIK there are no doors there in the open areas.

I think they said no to that didnt they? Can't run two lots of code at once.

A) wizards earthening theirselves?? clerics speccing enhance with their x1.0 points for some shitty extra health and castspeed? shamans speccing a line to give themself endregen? this is bullshit and would probably make friars the most uber tank in the game
B)this simply wont work, maybe only if they restrict it to rvr, but due to the laggieness of the game this would result in very strange bugs...
C)whats the prob with resists? casters would kill everyone in 3 nukes, and whats the prob with different armor resists?? is it too hard for you to remember which armor resists what? or having trouble spamming your pierce styles on infils & sbs?

They had that in EverQuest if a guild was raiding and didnt want another guild in the zone they blocked the doorways with ogres or something :p resulted in a hell of a lot of grief. Or if you zoned into a zone and someone was already there you kept falling off their head and died of falling damage... another way to keep people out your zone :p

Pity they can't do collision detection vs. enemy realm players. No grief, and more realism in the rvr action.

Would be nice. Tho they should give all classes same 'size' because otherwise you need 12 lurikeens to stop 1 troll :)

Collision detection would be great for the game imo if implemented correctly.

It would encourage formations and actually give the tanks a proper chance to defend the poor casters who get one nuke off before horribly dying :p

A) not at all Wardens would be too, and obv this type of choice involves some changes on spell lines and so on mr. bullshit.
B) aye if developers have an IQ lower than 90.
C) this happens with resists too when u face the classic caster Mid grp (4 healers, 4 casters) but with lowered immunity and cc prolly they'll cast less and give em a more balanced experience tho atm they quite die fast... And no i DON'T HAVE any damn problem to remember anything ...
