Am not so sure about this lol, when an actor who played a major character in a show goes tits up it is usually prudent for the show to call it quits rather than trying to labour on without them or graft a new actor either to play a new character, which sometimes works or to replace the old actor, which very rarely works and I believe is called the Becky paradigm...(those who remember roseanne will know what I'm on about those who don't shouldn't be up this late Oo)

Anyway I've got nothing against AK, he was really quite funny in that 70s show, I liked 2.5 men...well I liked Charlie and Allen the kid annoyed the hell out of me, if he'd been the one to get fired over drug fuled twitter rage it'd of been better for everyone imo. Anyhoo what do you guys think?

Charlie plastic surgery!? about the only way to write in a new actor for same role. It has to have some explanation if same character.

if it a different character then god knows what they are going to do with it. But wont be the same. that is for sure. Wish they actually finished the last series of without charlie. There was actually a couple routes they could taken to explain it in order to just complete that season well.

Yeah i don't think Lorre is so stupid as to directly replace charlie. Just check a few of his vanity cards to see how brilliant the guy really is. Charlie will probably just f off to las vegas(etc) and AK will do some other role. Probably a rentee, or some such.

He's a good comic actor, will certainly bring his own lunatic flavor to it and as such, good replacement.

Charlie was good for a few things; drinks, sexual undertones and hot women on the show.

AK can bring all that.

The only funny thing about the show was Sheen. I realise this is just me but I'm putting it out there anyway; Jon Cryer seems rather effeminate to me and although I'm sure as 'Alan' he has all the working parts I can't see him as a Father in the show. I'm not suggesting he's gay or anything, just an odd way of thought from me.

Actually Ryan Stiles is the best part of the show, then again he makes anything gold.

The only person i could see jumping in instead of Sheen is Emilio Estevez. But he died in the show, too bad.
