50 flex without 42 shield is a waste imho.

i had 50 flex and 26 shield and i found myself never getting levi off unless i was chasing someone. i found myself doing mostly crapy anytime damage with that spec really. casters had it way to easy against me.

with 42 shield i find myself blocking decently and able to launch far more block reactive styles. i can almost use viper or kingsnake as anytimer

slam is a beauty ofc. slam - indigo - indigo - indigo - constrictor is far easier to get of than block - viper - levi with 26 shield .

then again, i am a noob when it comes to playing melee chars

Was easy for me to get the block chains off with 100 dex in temp and 23+11+RR-1 shield. The short stun was good to get it in twice in a fight, meaning 4-5 levis together.

I've seen some Heretic strafing like shit and landing all the styles and and getting little damage back, was silly .

i had serious problems against stuff with higher WS than me to land the block reactives. not enough blocking unless i engaged all the time. and even then, i think i only twice succeeded to finish the viper chain in rvr before I switched to 42 shield. the much longer window of time to launch a reactive now might probably help a lot too now for people with lower shield skill, dunno.

i don`t strafe, i just do quarter spins after i land a stunning style to get to the side. just like i would do block-viper-run trough-stick-levi with 50 flex 26 shield.

well thats the thing the bolts are so fast that u can get both off before the menta would get in range and he will die ( if the wizzi is fire )
