I wondered does anyone know of any shops that sell 18th and 19th century clothing for men; like big baggy shirts with frilly bits but not from a goth shop? More proper antique style. I wonderd if anyone has a shop like this in their town, all we have here, in York, is goth clothing, which is okay but not what I'm after. :)

It's not a fetish, is it? I thought of costume hire, but I want to keep them. :)

The hire shops will know where to buy these things though.

You're right, I'll go and ask... I could also go to the local theatre and ask them where they get their costumes from I guess? :)

You can borrow my Delorean and go get some authentic 18th Century stuff if you want. Haven't got the Mr Fusion fitted tho, so take some extra plutonium.

I had thought about Portobello Road, having a look at that list though the clothes don't seem to be old enough. One that might be okay doesn't have a web site and I don't want to travel all the way down to London on the strength of a telephone call. :)

Why doesn't he wear them anymore? Does it make him too recognisable at those Gatwick runway protests? :)

Thanks, I think I'm going to have a look around Leeds tomorrow, haven't been there in over a decade so it should be interesting. :)

As a soft York nonce you should fear any other Yorkshire town/city.

Us Selebians regularly used to go to York for an easy fight :)

(Note: Wij may not have been the hardest of any Selby posse.)
