Whats the score with Banelords, Im aware that Battlemaster get groups np, taking advantage of grapple and body guard, with other nice little toys, is there actually any room for banelords? Havent seen anything written about them at all except most of the abilty's are bugged or on the same timer as something else thats useful.

I have banelord up to ml7 and for me the only nice tool is zone of unmana .. the rest so far seems crap

I am Banelord ML5 atm. Only using Zone of Unmana all the time and some times Tactical Inisght. Zone of Unmana is on same timer with a couple more abilities but 5mins timer is almost nothing and can be used almost every fight. And I surely know it pisses enemy casters. Especially when I run close to them and use it

Edit: Lots of people seem to like bg more in groups but with more and more caster groups around bg would be less effective and Zone of Unmana much more I hope

Im banelord 10, only use ZoU really, as most other abilitys on same timers, ml9 is broken this patch and ml10 isnt insta cast till next patch i think.

we got one banelord in our group all the time = Dha. Spamming snaring tendrils every 10 seconds rox its a 700 radius insta interupt on 10 sec timer on same timer as zone of unmana tho so if you use that it gets a long reuse. the ML10 ability is nice aswell but it have casttime atm tho wich sucks but next patc it becomes insta.

and don't forget it fucks up their healer/mezzer cast speeds too, without breaking mezz :wub:

if u bg-ing or grappling u aint killing, if your blowing half your endurance on one style, your not killing.

i find nearly all the banelord tools useful, trick is knowing when/where to drop them.
