NWA aren't rapping about anything other than 'look how dangerous I am'. Funny that in the same year Public Enemy released 'It Takes..' an album that's packed full of intelligent lyrics and messages, targeted at problems slightly larger than being the biggest 'gangsta' on the block.

NWA appeal to middle class whites, always have done, and always will do. PE appeal to intelligent listeners with the desire to see beyond 'man with gun' lyrics.

Hip Hop is the stuff rappers rap over. Trip Hop is the stuff guitar bands make when they get a sampler.

Heh, sort of, but funny none the less. Trip Hop is what the music media labelled the Bristol scene in 94-96, Massive Attack, Tricky and Portishead being the big three groups from that scene.

Hip-hop does have it's good parts, however I get pissed off by little asians going around kitted out in hiphop gear and having that 'attitude' - do they have a contrast problem with their mirrors?
