they are all on drugs :p
they just take other drugs to break them down before they come to the olympics so they pass all the drug tests

my god it was fantastic, gave me goosebumps watching it. Loved when they showed old Michael Johnsons reaction to it.

Agree with Chod. If he was really going for it he could have smashed 9.5

Even the commentator said that he seemed to slow down at the end

I'd like to see what time he would have made if he'd really gone for it

Ofc he wasnt going to go full out, because other wise he will never be able to beat another record, and how will he make money? He slowed down so he can beat it again next time by 0.01. and will keep doing so :p

I don't think you can really judge what kind of time you will get in a 100m race. He probably didn't realise he was going to break the record, it doesn't normally happen in Olympic finals and there was no wind behind him. He could have easily run 0.1 seconds slower everybody would have still said it was a fantastic time and he would have still won.

Cynical, but probably accurate :p

how do you propose that a human can count in 0.1 of a second, in their head?

never mind that they are also concentrating on running at the same time.

Who cares... i doubt he was on drugs.

I like the way he prepared for the final by skipping breakfast, then having KFC for lunch and tea. Take THAT Michael Phelps.

Michael Phelps lives on a junk food diet. He is far from a healthy eater.

That's what I love about all these Jamaican athletes they're so laid back just cooler people, so when they win they don't really seem arrogant.

KFC > Pasta & Ham Sandwiches

Ooooooooh, harsh statement. Depends on situation. Toast + Mayo + Ham at 3am > KFC.

/agree o_O

Actually, I've noticed that alot of with some other events. If you look at the male and female gymnasts, since they're not running around for 500h a week they're not really as stressed. I mean, I saw (parts of) both gymnast events and they were all calm.
