Just listened to Merina(and the Diamonds) on R1 and got me thinking if you could have 1 wish, now, today -what would it be? (and you cant have 'more wishes'):p

Yup, infinite money is probably it. May seem materialistic, but without the burden of a mortgage etc, I'd definitely find another job, something like teaching in underdeveloped countries or so.
Doesn't mean that I wouldn't buy a grand new house, car, nothing too fancy, but just nice.

I'd wish for good health for me and my family. I can get everything else I need with hard work.

The ability to make people who piss me off turn into bottles of jack daniels.

Oh, and if I get it, Katie Price and Kerry Katona, watch this space!

Sod that - Infinite money means that you can pay off the debts of the underdeveloped country and sort out the schools too. And any other country.

Everyone would be equal as you could give them what they need.

You also would destroy the value of 'money' by flooding the market :p

God-like powers....
I'dd fix the world problems and go explore the rest of the uni/multiverse.

If that is too much I guess I would take unlimited money too.
They say you can't buy happiness, but I'm sure I could buy a damn good imitation!!

Unlimited money, everything else can be bought, including happiness.

lol -IT WORKED!!!

I like it.

Good honest answers, if a little predicable -money, power etc. Thats just the world we live in -I like the idea of Olgaline's complete freedom.

i thought it was a shitty wish. Without restrictions, consequences and all that jazz life gets dull and boring. whats the fun in being criminal when its not a crime!
theres no satisfaction in doing something if its too easy

So why are some fantastically rich people miserable?

imo you have to be very strong to be able to function well when you have no barriers to push against. I think that if you have nothing to struggle with or wait for you'll do strange things.

Makes me remember a documentary on a fantastically rich oil prince. The fellow was decent enough, but he had so much money that he literally had no idea what to do with it, and thus did some things that were, imo, quite weird.

to answer the wish question properly: ofc I could go the route of health and happiness, but instead I am going to be selfish: I wish that no government, council or public agency of any kind will ever have to contact me again. That they will do their jobs correctly and that everything I tell them will get processed correctly.

superhero level cell regeneration/growth rate, in essence slowing down aging (not to the point of immortality though) and making it very very difficult to die in an accident.

infinite money etc kind of removes all the challenge, but having an ability like that is like playing a computer game on 'hard' with quicksaves. its fun and challenging, but if you fail it is good to have a savegame :)
