1 cat5 cable into 2 consoles?

might sound a bit stupid but up until now i had 2 cat5 or cat5e cables going into my living room all plasttered into the wall now one of em for some reason is not working. is it it possible to use get a splitter and if such thing exsits and and have both my xbox and wii connected at the same time?

Try a passive hub?

I'd go with clown on that one - there are splitters but they are essentially just passive hubs - and probably the same sort of price.

Can't find any/many passive hubs on ebay these days - those that are are only 10mbit. Still lots of cheap switches/hubs around for 4-5 quid.
