+11 main skill, solid resists. I've put in 19% to spirit, I assume some FoTM SMs will use spirit as main damage in 1.89.

Didn't fit in EP/AT on purpose, didn't fit in Nailah's for the girl look. If you can live with slightly lower resists it's easy to change for EP/AT. Leviathan Ring of the Defiance is farmable with 4 dual logged people, so I didn't hesistate to put it in.

I kept CB in for feedbacking mezz instas on incoming and BoZ for the additional interrupts/AoE fumble.

Hope it's of any use to you guys, seen a lot of caster template here recently that could use some work.

For my personal use I'd only like to have ~20% energy too, but couldn't get it with all the artifacts in.

Whats new about this caster template taking into consideration the latest patches/new items/abilities exist in the game?

Id say generously bit more hits than usual ( 200~ ) other than that it belongs on the same category of templates made when DR released.

Get a grip (Brite). 'Public Awareness Necklace' is an 1.88 item and I didn't say this template or the resists are is spectacular, I said solid. If you'd read some of the recent caster templates here you'd find some with ultra low reists or no +11 skills and so on. But maybe you didn't cause you have been banned.

I have seen 10% spell damage templates, all have lower resists and no CB. CB is still essential for me, way more than CTR.

I don't know what kind of CC GoV will fuck up for you with the dot, surely not melee stun, mezzes and roots on tanks don't last long enough anyway.

Once an enemy tank has root immunity the Nailah's snare is useless. Also post the far superior template with twice the power pool, similar stats, Nailah's and 10% damage, CB and BoZ, I want to have a laugh.

hm its a decent enough caster temp manisch, but i think for patch 1.88 priorities for a damage dealing caster have to be +11skill 10/10/10/10 and 101/101 stats, and work onwards for toys+resists+AF from there.
the 1.88 caster cloak+neck with 1% spell damage on each are quite nice and kinda nice util rly.

You got 25% total less resists and that is easily to understand where your extra 2% spell damage come from. I thought it was obvious that I tried to make a template with good overall resists and not 10% spell damage.

While you will be nuking for 2% more spell damage, depending on who is nuking you, you will get nuked for more too with slightly lower resists.

The 14 extra con - the 8 missing hits = approx 40 more hits total. You need to take 1k cold damage to outweigh that, even more heatdamage, and then 2k body damage. I´d say 14 con and 2% spelldamage > your extra resist percentages. And thats only vs the important resists where you have higher, vs melee my resists are capped too and the con is still there aswell.

You run with your 9% spiritresist instead of 5%, I am sure it will be teh pwn most of the time, especially since most spiritmasters will prolly splitspec if they use that nuke and self debuff anyways. Matter, sure, but for some reason I think its better to do 2% more damage on every nuke you cast than to have a lil extra resist vs 2 classes. :)

Sigh. Your has no BoZ but an Agramon bracer and a Midgard version of the SI necklace, ofc it has higher resists and more con.

Naliah's Robe has dot proc aswell, which brakes its snare too. Not to mention you can't rely on a reactionary proc, so stop bitching about it. It's fluff, though nice fluff sometimes.

Seriously, I don't like the look, I don't want to level a new artifact, the snare is useless once tanks got rooted and gained snare immunity too.

CB is still a saver when you lead for some reason on Sorc and when you catch the insta and BoZ has always been great.

Powerpool was a problem once for my old Sorc with 23% PP and 44 Mind, but I didn't have JS on it :p and MCL1/RP1 solved it. Now with EC + crack + Greater Mythrian of Power + JS + CW + pots and the new regen rates it's not an issue.

The truth is that you get stunned by a RR4 Cleric with 320 dex on your Bard while standing right next to it and that you need a 2nd Bard to get anything going in your caster group that can still be dispatched by one proper Theurg.

Not quite sure what point you where trying to make, beside's bitching over 14con and 2% magic dmg.

Imo a 1.88 template should have 10% magic damage. The 14 con was vs his extra resists, it was an argument which was worth more, and imo (as a mid though) the 14 con > 3% or so extra resists in cold/heat/body. Personally though I run with 0% cold and 0% heat atm and only reason I am boosting em in 1.88 is because I can, if high powerpool was still needed I would prioritize that since its not hard to avoid taking damage from other casters. But you tell me how I make a point that imo 14 con is better than x resist, without bringing up the 14 con pls.

Im sure u can easily see that the same items are used for it and u almost get the same bonuses like yours. Yes i see u got 80 hits more and slightly better resists ( 2-3% higher ) but with todays template level u can do mucho better than this. Obviously u gotta do some alterations and escape the same routine cliche standardizement of using the same items/arties as u wont end up in anything new.
A good example is CB. It used to be v good for many ocassions. Can hardly say the same thing now as player base got improved both template wise and play wise ( despite a few ) hence one blocked mezz is somewhat non needed imo but then again u decide what to drop and what to get.

In todays template world id aprove any caster template that has at least +350 hits and 25% pp along with toa sizzles capped. Its not impossible - its pretty much doable.

Just a bit of information.
