Saw the other patch thread so changed what i posted
Essense Flare, the Spymaster level 9 ability creates one (1) poison in your inventory. The recast timer on this spell is 1800 seconds (30 mins.)

-Spell has a chance of casting if this weapon strikes an enemy.

Cannot be traded to other players
Cannot be sold to merchants

So let me see if I´ve got this straight.
On a 30 min timer, you can make 1 (one) poison potion.
You need 50 env to apply it to a weapon. (ok most assasin classes have this)
To apply it to a weapon, you have to skip either your debuff or dot poison.

The grand effect is that you can mezz some one in a fight for 15 secs.

Those 15 secs will probably be affected by resists like every other mezz

and most likely you will break it yourself if you dual wield.

And just how often have you really wished for a mezz as an assasin that you apply by hitting someone??

So all in all this sounds like a craptastic abillity.

What you could do is grp a stealther, send them ahead, they walk into a group and hit one and mezz everyone, the rest rush in and finish up

Damage type is matter, so maybe you could mezz afterwards with body type.
Nice to prevent adds.

Most assasins have 3 weapons, they switch one of the main 2 after the initial hit, so having a weapon ready with this mezz would be easy.

that dont work, light eld mez is cold but its on the same immunity timer as bard (body) mezz.

And it lasts a nominal 15seconds.

So, no practical effect on the target due to DW.

adds get mezzed for....

15 seconds x 0.7 for typical aoe drop-off = 10.5 seconds.

- 26+16% matter resist = around 5 seconds.

Or 2.5 seconds against a det class.

Meaning that nobody cares. This is going to have no practical effect. Except that it will almost certainly trigger mez immunity. So your local bards/sorcs/healers will hate you on a whole new level.
