Test Version 1.67i Release Notes

NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES

- We’ve changed the way Pulsing Blade Turn stacks for Wardens, Theurgists, and Runemasters to prevent situations where a character could be almost entirely immune to a monsters attack due to multiple cases of stacking PBT. Each time a character receives a fresh “bubble” from a PBT spell, a timer will start that will prevent them from receiving another bubble for 3 seconds. This means that regardless of if or when a bubble is broken, a character will only be able to receive a single PBT bubble every 3 seconds.

In effect this makes 6 sec pbt stacking impossible btw.

Why?

Because with two 6 sec bts, either A is <3 sec after B or B <3 sec after A.

Meaning one of the two will be ruled out every single tick.

Has to happen though - because otherwise the crocodile tears ring (makes chants/songs affect those outside your group) would mean no more melee damage ever.

And it affects hib much more the alb or mid.

1.67j will allow 2 6 sec pbt to work together

- A recast timer has been added to the Pulsing Blade Turn spells for Wardens, Theurgists, and Runemasters. Once a target receives a "bubble", they will be ineligible to receive another one for 2.5 seconds. When spell pulses are turned on in the text window, a failure notice will be returned to the target if PBT tries to place a second bubble within 2.5 seconds. This failure notice should allow groups with two 6 second PBT classes to synchronize their PBT more easily.

So basically it wont affect having 2 PBTers in the group, its just a preventative matter to stop a bunch of wardens all playing pbt and being totally immune to being hit?
