Personally I think DAoC is at it's best in zerg vs zerg.

But zerg vs 1fg-that-you-spent-an-hour-trying-to-find-a-fecking-sorc-for isn't my favourite gaming experience.

Yeah, but instead of the culture developing where we encourage zergs for zerg vs. zerg (much more fun than fg vs. fg imo, and much more room for skill and tactics) we encourage fg vs. fg. That's the problem for Albion because we have to fit more classes in a fg for the same things a mid/hib grp gets with less classes.

I'm not saying that's why Albion zergs though.

If a zerg vs zerg culture is desirable it will only happen if realm objectives exist within rvr.

And one-off raids don't count.

I mean something that can be fought for on an everyday basis that has a persistant and cumulative effect beneficial to the realm.

Individual objectives (rp) will always promote a culture of seeking to uber leet.

It's only worthwhile for one off relic raids though. Which require significant pre-planning and aren't really suitable for everyday rvr.

Everyday rvr zerg leaders exist, but those zergs currently have nothing worthwhile to achieve.
