im telling ya, this will DOUBLE our rps xD xD xD
- The portal ceremonies at the border keeps have been altered slightly, to assist players who forget their necklaces from time to time. A new, earlier port has been added during the period where the teleporters previously stood around and waited for players to get ready. After the master and lackeys cast this new teleport, they will wait on the teleport pad and then cast the ceremony a second time


albzerg comes twice as often

I fear increased taxes due to the elementalists having to work harder. If the board of mages dont raise their wages we might just see strikes under going!

A step in the right direction but really, whats the point in waiting for the damn wizards to walk back and forth all the time.

Keep the wizards stood on the pad and have them cast the spell every 5 minutes, job done. Every other npc stands around in the same spot 24/7 keep the portal wizards doing the same.

fuk all that just make the port insta like in SI porter

perhaps with people all porting in at various times might alleviate some of the zergs as they wont all buff up n leave tk at the same time 0_o


maybe not :D

but atleast would stop pissing me off as i miss port by secs every single friken time i /rel :D

lol .. its called an rpg kagato ... why not let everyone insta spawn in emain ... and get awps and colts.... would save the time running up to people to hit them with sword

All kinda irrelevant as they're merging the frontiers with the RvR expansion, but a nice change nonetheless, very helpful.

I don't go where the zerg goes anyway so **** em :D

But I hate waiting between the ports for fights, and at least with a more regular flow of people the groups that rely on active RA's to win *cough* GP * cough* will have a harder time of it.

the flow of people wont increase much. You will now have x mins wait for port than port and 30 secs later another one and than x mins wait. Instead of x mins wait porters get on pad wait 30 secs and port. So dont exactly see how this influences the flow of people?

Read the whole thread, I was commenting on a reply to my suggestion that the Wizards stay on the pad and cast the teleport spell every 5 minutes, therefore increasing the flow of people.

I still think the whole notion of ports is silly. If you just allow the porting mechanism to work like housing portals (put on the neck, talk to merchant, insta-port). This would reduce zerging since there would be no one dump of people, it would allow a steady flow of people for groups waiting for members at portal keeps and finally it would prevent groups from being split if certain members miss the port.

do they need a year to fix casters?

no they fucking dont, but they'd rather do stuff that brings new ppl/force ppl to make alts

seems that way for me atleast

To be honest, we're not Mythic employees. Maybe they did need a year to fix archers, I don't mind. It just showed people I was good even facing difficult odds.

Arnor, what caster alt do you play? Why don't you just free the hamster?

Okay, so I noticed this:

"Added the command /vdestination x y (eg: /vdestination 32000 32000) which will sail your boat to a /loc within your current zone."


That all seems fair enough right? But sure means that THIS:

- /Vfollow command has been added, which allows the controller of a movable vehicle to follow their currently targeted object.

Doesn't apply to boats. Movable vehicles that aren't boats...hmmm, do siege engines now roll about or something?

Na I like the walking down bit, adds a little atmosphere plus gives you a warning when the port is due. Plus no cg would be complete without "WIZZIES INC" being yelled every now and then :D
