They've already said that style reviews will be after 1.65. Probably will be in ToA, whenever we'll get to see that in EU :(

Melee resistance bonuses on items worn by the Necromancer will now be inherited by the pet.


like a fullbuffed necro pet needs to be more immune to melee :rolleyes:

they need to fix the con buffs making them stupidly hard to kill... but what's that got to do with actually making the necromancer's equipment do something

(since just about every stat on necromancer armour at the moment is utterly pointless)

Erm "Issues remain" suggests they fix something :/

Oh, the fact we can actually walk through doors is a fix I suppose.

All they need to do it fix the resists, using items in shade mode (What feckin moron thought up that crap ffs), group window heals, lvl 44 pet, cant say I noticed the RA thingy, Wild Power 3 and such like aint a push button RA, there is a ton of things, if I started playing my necro again I'd remember them I suspect.

Maybe he has been AF debuffed by a necro and craped his pants :) I know I would.

Its not "more melee resists" is what they should have, I reckon you'd be a tad hacked if you got yourself 25% slash resist on yer SC template and it didnt actually do anything.

This is 1 of a massive number of bug/issues with necros.

It is a start yeah. Can you imagine quickness not having an effect on your swingspeed? Or dexterity meaning you (as: in the pet) dont cast faster?

The real problem is that the necro-pet is treated as a pet thus resulting in a fixed amount of hp but having con-buffs work as absorb-buffs on it.

In practice they got insane melee-'immunity' but they got low hp too.

No access to IP (ok, I guess that is fair) but Purge not working. Or MOC. That's just silly. Groupheal same story. Melee-resists not working is silly too.

If you want to fix the class just make the necro ' turn into a lvl 50 abomination' (=no shade), give them some kind of armour (chain?) with the absorb known in game on chain (27%), transfer ALL stats from the cloth ---> abomination.

then they're 'fixed' and you can easily control necro then etc etc.

Errr.....a caster class in chain with strong DD's in an uncommon magic line (spirit). Want meh to start the nerf whine thread now or after it happens ? :)

Well there is a caster class somewhere (guesss!) that had to be nerfed to only have up to 75 max level of pets (adding levels). Why not then necros have at least a 46lvl pet?
