My L50 Mini has 50/43/2.

Stealth for me was simply this:

With Stealth I can climb wall and fall off things.
With stealth I might miss a touch more, and do slightly less damage.

Do I want to climb walls: No.

Stealth vs Speed in combat - never need to stealth up to someone when I can speed up to them. Difference being someone might insta me on the way in if they're looking behind them... SoS kinda fixes that too.

Not having 50 Instruments was never an option for me as Psong 5 is a major part of what I do the rest of the time. Hitting stuff is the 2nd thing I do most.

I rolled a mini for speed, psong and to hit stuff with. Never wanted to be a stealther, don't ever use stealth now except for testing milegates for enemy, and low stealth handy for that

So, for me the stealth changes mean nothing to me, as I won't be having any stealth - reason being, I don't play to have stealth, and having stealth wouldn't effect my play style because I'll never use it. Lastly, having stealth would lower the skills of my character that I want to use, so why substitute something you want with something you don't.

I can see where a lot of people could get some great fun out of stealth speccing. But that kinda fun isn't for me, so I'll stick to being psong/speeder/ohlookivegotastick kinda Minstrel

whats the point in getting climb walls ? practicly every single SB and NS has or is getting See Hidden and can see you from miles away.. climbing into a keep is just asking for a PA ..

Totally agree. Why climb into a keep.. ok sometimes i might be able to fight someone but the majority of times it will just be. oops i got pa'd/nuked or whatever.. /release

Maybe we will see an increase in grps stealthing/climbing into a undefended keep and killing the lord? Now that minnies can do this too, theres gunna be a lot more ppl available to get into the keep and upto the lord.

I dont know the ins and outs of this tactic and so dont know if it would be feasable to kill the lord before you get hacked down by the guards/archers but could be fun.

i'm going for 50/30/30, if i ever get a respec stone, but the problem with next patch, those darned middies/hibbies will always be targetting minstrels first for a much easier fight...
if your pondering over thrust/slash, thrust is better if you're a saracen going for a 50/47 spec, but if you're aiming for a lower weapon spec slash'll be better cos thrust gets crappy styles until 40+ i think

No, it's still gimp.

Hathor is 50 thrust, saracen, SC armour...
I'm a gimp briton in epic.
I beat her 5 times in duels including when i got dragonfanged. Slash > Thrust.

Which is the best way to go if you want a mincer, slash or thrust?

And, if slash is superior , i assume a briton mincer is way better than saracen mincer, right?
