I am not sure how far I autotrained to. I hadn't really done a lot of research on how to spec my infil all I knew was that I shouldn't train stealth till atleast 30. I think round about 35 I autotrained to. This was before the BG's were available.

Well reason I asked was because autotrain is important to reach high DW.

For example the following spec isnt possible without autotrain:

35 Stealth
50 Thrust
35 Envenom
34 CS
34 DW

You will be around 14 points or so behind the 34 dw.
Autotraining to 24 (which I did) grants me access to 20 more points so I can get the 34 dw.

For this reason, I failure to understand your spec Nicolas, since autotraining to 35ish, grants 44 points.

So, with 33 dw, you have 64 points to spend in dw. Only gets you to 34

I know. I am not entirely sure how I got so high. I respecced and then specced to 34 DW, 35 Stealth, 35 Env, 34 CS then found out I still had spec points left to train to 36 DW

Diffrent walking the path than knowing it

My first spec at 50 lvl was:

50 cs, 39 thrust, env 39, stealth 37, dw 18 (envenom and stealth like that about, cant remember sure)

Being thrust but lacks dragonfang :/. Pa cap was nearly 800 and was nice.

Then:

50 dw, 34 stealth, 34 env, thrust 50, cs 2 (envenom and stealth like that about, cant remember sure)

Liked spec but couldnt get mages down fast enough.

Finally came this:

50 dw, 30 stealth, 30 env, thrust 50, cs 21. After rr + items about:
59 dw, 46 stealth, 43 env, thrust 62, cs 30+

Liked PA (Main hand damage 520-560 depending weapon and cs skill), now can one shot mages sometimes(crits) and still have dual shadows which is really good cause medium end cost over garrote. Dual shadows caps at 330-350 with mainhand, usually see it doing 200-350 with main hand when buffed. Without buffs
110-250 depending opponent.

When sc here, will have pa mainhand damage 600+, can use 47 enervating poison.

46 stealth which i have currently feels to be minimum in rvr, still notice diffrence to 49-50 stealth clearly.

Stealth is my only complain what i feel with this template but in future it will come better. Otherwise like this spec very much.

RA:

Mop4, dual ref 1, dodger 2, fa, ip. Prolly mop 5 in future.

These are my feelings about mercinfils after 200-300k rps. Some have tried but didnt like that spec but everyone should play how they like, there is no right spec i think, only choices.

Can people tell me why the hell is an inf compared to a merc?and therefore known as a merc-filtrator?no disrespect to any infs but they are both totally different class only because they both have dw people call it that.

So me rolling a merc instead of playing my minstrel is bad?

No because having mix classes balances the realm more and a merc can kill a sb easy which mids have a lot of but the main thing we need are sorcs.
