I thought the problem with all this talk of capping stats with crafted armour is getting hold of 100% quality stuff that can take all the spellcrafting?

Since it requires loads of cash (esp for plate/chain) from the buyer and requires many retries so you need to find a crafter who is happy to sit there for hours for every customer.

Surely most people are going to have to do with 98/99% qua? Or is the chance of high Quality crafted stuff raised in a future patch?

1.51 increases the chance of a 100% quality item for high level crafters.

They must be running out of silly names for the current equipment :)

Just be worried when "Glorified Staff of Pointyness" and "Blunt Rapier of Slashing" start to drop ;)

And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, "O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the Lord did grin. And the people did feast upon the lambs and sloths, and carp and anchovies, and orangutans and breakfast cereals, and fruit-bats and large chu--

-Skip a bit, Brother...

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it!

Cool, sounds interesting. Now I want Arkaine's Valor, Windforce, The Grandfather, Harlequin Crest, Stormshield, and some SoJ's.

There is one other important thing regarding the drops in these new dungeons. One that will interest crafters. The items do not salvage for the usual tier 8 material (Asterite in Midgard), but for tier 9 (Netherium) and tier 10 (Arcanium) materials.

This means:

1. No more salvaging/trinketizing/selling to buy tier 9 and 10 supplies.
2. You can actually save yourself a heck of a lot of money by farming the dungeon for a while, and giving the drops to a crafter to /salvage.
3. Crafters have to spend less money to level up in their craft if they can farm the dungeons for a while.

Keep in mind that the dungeons are basically a 'high-level' Spindelhalla. Many of the drops are of the 'dull whatever' kind, solely meant for /salvage. (Quality of 80% is not uncommon). You might get lucky and actually get a cool item, but most of the things you get will be crap.

(Directly from the guy who designed the Random Item Generator used in those three dungeons.) :)

Snore!! Ooo Random stats - thats good....

Bit Dull really as there's only so much you can do with quality, bonuses dps stats etc.

What we really need to have some items people might actually want are some unique effects - Like boots of flying, scrolls of recall to bind point.

Or how about a sword of dancing that melees for its wielder (tanks only tho).

Or how bout getting a magic saddle that lets you summon a horse to get back to town?
