However, it would mean rerolling a new char would be easier, which I agree is needed. Atm if you have some 50 chars, but wanna try another class/realm, it's potential hell.

That´s what the BG´s and /level 20 are made for. If you really want to explore a new char/realm, you can do that by playing the "light" version and then decide to go for the full range or not. Even more: when you join a new realm, you NEED to get familiar with it instead of being summoned as a lvl 50 out of the blue and unable to find the entrance to your very own capital. That´s where all those funny "lvl 50 asking why a grey con doesn´t give xp"- Ebaystories come from. :)

L50 takes a long time (using traditional techniques, normal lvling groups etc) tbh I think there's a reason for this. In general by the time someone gets to L50 they've got enough cash to get their Sc'd gear, tbh if you could lvl from 1-50 in a couple of days you wouldn't have enough cash to get the equipment you need to compete in RvR, whether it's buying arti (V.expense for most) or getting your full SC gear. The "Grind" for level 50 is their to ensure your char has the money/experience to compete in the final stage of the game (RvR). It's a hell of a chore buts it needs to be done.
How uninformed.

Let us see, what earns the most gold:

- Kill equal level mobs (ei, 20, 21, ... 50) and grab their level loot (few silver at first).
- Have equipment set and ready, buying new stuff every 5 levels.
- Pay gold for restoring con when you accidently whipe.

Or:

- Kill level 50-60 mobs all the way to 50.
- Ding 50 without any EQ on, part from the drops you found and are going to /salvage
- Never whipe and restore con.

Mind you, the exp gain is the same - being PL'd or not. The number of mobs are probably about the same too, perhaps only a little less when PL'd. However, they mobs -always- drops good gold/items when PL'ing. Grinding doesn't do that.

And lastly, don't fall for the lie that a person that grinded his way through to 50 knows how to RvR that character better than one that was PL'd.

They both know equally little about it.

RvR is different from PvE, obviously. You don't learn to RvR in PvE (nor the reverse ofcourse). Just, some people are more clever and adapt better and think faster - whomever they may be. :)

problem is that all the experianced player no longer do L1-20, and many PL/BOT/SET-GROUPS there way to 50. Getting to L50 deosn't really give you yoo much insightment to the game mechanics if theres no one to teach you stuff. You still meet L50s that have level the traditional way but do not fully understand the protental of there class.

I don't think mythic though out Artifacts very well, they probably didn't realize people would get the artifact and then stop doing what they normally do to get it to L10 before resuming there normal play.

Maybe artifacts should level up on all EXP but have something things that give a bonus (different amounts depending on how rare the mob or area/time is). also change the way they level up each level to follow other leveling up (like Exp and RvR) so the first few levels are very easy while the last few take longer.
