TBH, after that abysmally lazy and lacksadaisical 2nd half performance England deserved to go out. Seaman was at fault for the 2nd goal (which imo was an intentional shot) - he should've been more alert.

But the way in which England totally failed to do anything, against 10 men ffs, condemned them to the plane home.

Agreed that England certainly needed the kind of performance they had against Argentina and Denmark, but that never materialized, but on the other hand trying to score against Brazil, who were one up and playing defensively, would have taken a small miracle. After all, 10 man England managed to hold off Argentina for over and hour last Finals.
