it was all a ploy so you could post a reply then we could start speaking....oh how i cherish this moment.

oh yeah im fed up with rvr moaners posting stupid stuff on here like....want to trade excal to camlann with a 1:1 ratio or "pvp is mean the bigger boy killed me"

but its the fact no one bothers to read teh post they just create a new one

No the postcount doesn't "stop". Show all replies by <postername> just doesn't show over 500 results.

Yup afraid so Gotta keep in mind I normally play a Warden, so killing people is a novel experience Thing about attacking deep purples is that the risk is all on their part. Only thing i'd lose is some time when killed, though after I killed Oit (Bannis portal camping luri) he proceeded to kill me 3 times in a row, sticking me as i released and stuff. Funny stuff, tho, a lvl50 RR7 stealther wasting his time killing a lvl27.

I agree with you.

Camlann is hard work. If you don't put enough effort into it to roll a necro to farm cash and decent gear, then your going to suck and eventually leave back to the RvR servers. But if you do, you have lots of fun and kick some lamzor idiot bootie.

no this is in the hope the rvr ppl who come to here to find info on pvp will read it and take note

I am really outdated with answering on this but, I doubt they care if you tell them.

When I came on pvp I already had plans with the server, how to xp, how to survive.

Takes a LONG while for rvr server peeps (like me) to get used to pvp rulesets (aka. xp in hidden areas, avoid towns, learn not to be angry at all when killed [wow how in hell did I ever achieve this? I like it tho, I get killed and I'm not angry ], endless patience).


But imho the most important thing to learn is that you have to be really calm and patient. If you get angry when killed on the pvp server you won't get anywhere. This is what most people who try to move here, can't learn.

in lvl 50. pvp server is OF COURSE the best one.


i have now some high rr and lvl chars. 1 pally rr5. 1 bard rr7 1 animist rr2? ^^

And is RLY funny, to go at nights (when that rvr guys bored roll lvl 20 twinks on pvp) with that lvl 22 or so twinks i have full SC :>

I dont rly like lose ^^ when i die many times with main cos some gimp actions i get angry (still have to learn things in pvp) but then, when i log my uber twinks i enjoy a lot with such lvl 20 gimps

and in lvl 50 is the best one... obiously mixed grps with all classes, variety of people and areas, fights in towns... the problem is that maaaaaaaaany people is lame and strafe.. timer-spread.. walljump in toa... and these things...

BTW... i dont fear any guild from rvr. They are maybe good there, and they rox tah world... but here they will only get killed and killed
so what if they know to play? in pvp also good guild wich im sure could kick their asses rly easy.. in fact if they come they need artes rr equipement ML... ok for that date we alrdy got 2 more expansions ^^

Depends, for me a strong, versatile midgardian group on excal (my guild group usually ) takes the palm regarding the best daoc experience.

You can't declare any server as best ;p

oh how i hate the rvr babies who come on pvp, yeah we all hate em but this is why i despise them.

they get a 50 on rvr which is no problem, they then make a /20 on pvp with no money so they have crappy /20 armour weapons and after 10 minutes go back to rvr saying "pvp sucks cause you die all teh time"

omfg are you idiots? if you go thid lvl 20 in /20 gear you get pwnd too. thid has gotten to the stage you have to be lvl24 full sc and bb as thats what everyone does!

then they join your grp and start saying where we should go etc and half the time they not played the other realms or know about the porting pvp offers. i had twwo rvr losers not wanting to go cotswold saying no one goes there....then having to explain that the portal merchant can take them to camelot where we can port from there "no khammal noob there is no port there" the stupidity is quite worrying.

most ppl go rvr first which is fair enough but you learn so much more from combat in pvp, you learn about other classes and there weakness's as you can play all the chars.

i made an rvr character and so far have beat a red sc armsman, orange reaver (im a reaver) and its stupid things they do, they kinda stand there and must spam 1 style. ok teh 50's have a good idea how to play there char but on pvp they make hundreds of 20's and are just walking bait.

tbh you may as well make a pvp char called "i suck and have no con" then make a kobbie healer spec all your points in strength and dont use armour or weapons.

if your gonna play pvp give it a chance dont expect to beat someone who looks like he is wearing lvl 50 gear when you in your oxfam stuff!

dont knock the noobs in /level 20 gear tho, they're good to xp ur new alt off
