You can interpret that as

1) You don't like Q3.
2) You don't have a particularly good list.
3) Barrysworld isn't the only gaming service provider.
4) This is the Q3 forum, so it's probably a fair assumtion to make.
5) http://www.gamespy.com/stats/index.shtm will give you a clearer indication of how many people are playing Q3 as opposed to Q2/Q1. As you will see more people play CS, but doesn't mean it's any better or should be played because of it.

Let's face it, we all play Q3.

But who among us wants to win money, by playing the game we all love?

We are holding the second season of our successful 2v2 comp in September to be run over the space of 9 weeks. It is scheduled to run every Sunday night from 8pm to 10pm.

Structured into 2 divisions so that, if like me you ain't l33t then you won't have to go up against the big bad boys in >Z< and 4^Kings.


Rules:

Teams:

Teams are to consist of 4 players, of which any 2 may play in each game
There is no restriction on players being in the same clan or not
Team members can not change during the season
There is no lpb limit
You may only play for one team entered into the league per season

League Format:

The league will consist of aproximately 20 teams soread over two divisions
It will take place over 9 weeks
You will play one match a week on the predetermined map against your opponent
Games will have a timelimit of 20mins
Teams are awarded 5 points for a win,
Frag difference will be taken into account in the event of a tie at the close of the season

Misc Rules:

Power-ups, ie Quad Damage, Mega-Health etc, are allowed
Comms software (Roger Wilco, BattleComm etc) is allowed
Spectators are not allowed on the server - admins will demo games
Each team must pick a representative who will need to be in #clanwars at least 15 minutes before the
game is due to start
Any complaints must be submitted in writing to here
Please consult the maps section of the website for any extra maps you may need. You are responsible for
making sure you have the files needed
The Admin's descision on all matters is final

This week, I've been looking on BW (via gamespy), and I can honestly say that all the Q3 servers (apart from RA3 and FFA4 modems only) have been empty almost everytime I look.

And yet three years on, there are still people on QW duel servers, clan arena, and teamgames on the bookables.

How many ways can you interpret that honestly?

So basically what you're saying is that some people are playing QW and some are playing Q3.

What's up with that?

And anytime I check through GSpy BW servers are usually very well populated (you wanna see a group of deserted servers pop along to WPQ3 country). But Clan Wars has nothing to do with any one specific service. We aren't tied to any GSP in particular.
