The company I linked to are a well respected company with whom I have placed several orders before who just so happen to be selling PC GTA3 Vice City for £17.99 delivered.

No you don't. There is a £18 limit on imported good and this falls below it. Plus you are unlikely to get caught by Customs if it is such a small package. Play.com operate in exactly the same way.

The only way Game could match that price is by doing what Play etc are doing.
They openly take advantage of a VAT loophole by employing someone in Jersey to receive a shipment of DVDs from Royal Mail, unpack and take them to the local post office and send them from there.
These companies are all UK mainland based, they arent actually operating from Jersey.
Its only a matter of time before the government stop it or all other online retailers follow suite.

I am VAT registered anyway, so things I can run through my company books (like Diesel for my car) I get 17.5% cheaper - and that doesn't include the tax I don't pay on expenses!
