Welcome to the Erinys Charm FFA raid.
The purpose of the raid is to provide as many casters as possible with this very powerfull artifact-jewel. The main problem is that the encounter requires a lot of tank/heal-power and the reward is a caster-only item so therefore the idea for the Erinys Charm FFA was born. The idea is that a regularly scheduled raid will let you help out with the toon that is best suited for the encounter and then bring your caster along for credit at some time in the future. The raids are held with a modifier system wich means that your chances of winning the charm goes up with the number of raids you participate in.
For those looking for ways to entice their "tank-friends" to come along you may want to point out the fact that we often see nice scrolls like Battler 3 and SoM 3 drop... and Samut dropes some nice gloves as well and believe it or not, sometimes the ROG generator kicks out very nice weapons/equipment as well...
Erinys Charm Stats:
lv 0: Hits +40, Acuity +15, Constitution +15
lv 1: Crush 5%
lv 3: Spirit 5%
lv 5: Perma Health Regen 4, Energy 5%
lv 7: Spell range 5%
lv 10: Perma Power Regen 2, Resist Piercing 5%
The nitty-gritty details:
The raid will gather in Volcanus Haven;
Every Tuesday 19:00 CET
Every Saturday 14:00 CET (*)
(*) On the saturday raids we also do Sally and High Priest Akil (Tartaros Gift Boss) if they are up. This normally adds another 5 minutes or so to the total raid time.
Please note that we usually depart no later than 10 minutes after the start-time. But it's better to be early than late since it's pretty common for the raid to leave on time. If you should be a bit late you will still have a chance to catch up with the raid.
The BG is usually formed on Flundra but just go to Vaolcanus and ask in /b for the Erinys FFA BG since we do form it on other toons every now and then.
As long as we have a reasonable mix of classes and about 25 people the raid should be over about 45 minutes later although we have done the raid in less than 25 minutes several times in the past.
MAKE SURE THAT YOU BIND IN VOLCANUS HAVEN!
Modifiers:
All level 50 toons that participate in the raid will get a +3 modifier for the charm lotto, the modifier applies to the raid after the one you participate in so if you, for example, have a 12 modifier and participate in a raid you get +12 to your roll for the Charm on that raid and +15 next time you turn up to roll for the charm. If you win the Charm on a raid you get no modifier for that raid and all your previous modifier gets reset to 0.
The modifier list will be compiled based on attendance when the mob dies - if you LD during the fight you will get credit, however we will wait no more than 3 minutes after the fight for LDs before rolling on the loot. Buffbots do not get a roll on anything and do not count towards modifier values.
In the time between the death of Samut and the start of the Erinys Charm lotto you will be asked to state what main you want modifier credited on, not stating a main for credit will be interpreted by me as you not wanting modifier credit. If you should happen to miss stating your main let me know as soon as possible and I'll try to fix it for you however get in touch quickly since the longer you wait the less likely that something can be worked out with reards to lost mods.
It's also the responsability of raid participants to check the list regularly to help me out in finding any errors -
If you are not level 50 you get no modifier credit.
Lotto:
You need to be level 50 to roll for any loot - the only things you can get if you're not yet level 50 is leftover loot that nobody else wanted to roll for.
Erinys Charm goes to the person rolling highest WITH MODIFIER on a /random 100. There are no class restrictions for rolling on the Charm.
With regards to the rest of the loot it will be lottoed on a /random 100, no modifiers will apply on the "regular" loot - max one item per person.
Loot won by you is yours to do with as you please but I strongly suggest you make sure that the charms don't rot in a vault somewhere... But any wins are yours so this is just a recommendation.
Should we have an unfortunate accident and wipe on Samut we will simply release and try again since Samut usually hangs arround a good 20 minutes or so on shore.
If too few people show up or if the class mix is totally inadequate I may have to cancel that occurance of the raid. If a participant of the raid does not follow the instructions of the raidleader/s or tries to cheat with the modifiers in any way he/she will be kicked from that raid and depending on the severity may be barred from attending any future events that I organize.
Being AFK for extended periods is bad and may result in modifier loss, bannings or relentless teasing by the raid leader so please try to stay at the keyboard for the duration of the raid. If you absolutely must go afk make sure to let your group know that you're gone.
I humbly ask that guilds and other groups farming the artifact leave it up on the days I run these raids. This shouldn't be too much of an inconvenience since it is up most of the time.
If you have suggestions or comments on the way I run the raid please contact me here or ingame.
