ML rush hi-jack/Over take.

I have taken over leading the ML rush.

Just lead ML5 today and will lead Ml6 tomorrow as plan.

Here's the few new rules i have introduced:

Keys will not be lotto'd, i will give them out at random with closed eyes.

Scrolls will not be lotto'd, will go to the grps that gets em.

Lotto will be done with /random 1000.

Only named drops and Star of Destiny's will be lotto'd (and remains that aren't x.10's).

All x.10 remain's, i keep for taking over these raids

If "Silksteel Lightning Embossed Sleeves" drop on 8.10, i claim those instead of 8.10 remains :]

On ML10, i won't claim anything, as there's no remains, will just partake as normal in lotto.

All raids are starting at 7:00pm gmt, 8:00pm cet.

bg for all raids will be up at 6:45pm gmt, 7:45pm cet.

The only change in plan, is that i have moved the ML9 raid to Tuesday, so people have more time to get the mlxp they need to get ML8 to enter. Will change it back if people already fitted Monday into their schedule.

Here's the plan:

Master Level 6: Monday 8th November: Meet Volcanus: BG on Hawaiian.

6.1 and 6.5 required before raid.

Master Level 7: Thursday 11th November: Meet Volcanus: BG holder to be announced.

7.1-6 required before raid. Must be ML 3 to enter

Master Level 8: Saturday 13th November: Meet Aerus: BG on Cryri.

8.4, 8.7, 8.9 required before the raid. No ML Requirement.

Master Level 9:Tuesday 16th November: Meet Aerus: BG holder to be announced.

No steps required before raid. ML8 requirement to enter.

Master Level 10:Wednesday 17th November: Meet <insert location of ML10 portal>: BG holder to be announced.

No steps required before raid. Must be ML 9 to enter.

The finder of the ML10 portal will be awarded with the Star of Destiny that drops in there.

BG for this raid, will be up 1 hour before raid, so people can start searching for portal.

ah i see its Greed b4 need now on this ml rush, ok you may be leading the raids m8 but everyone should have a chance for remains and sleeves in part you are taking away the essence of ml raids most ppl look forward to the lotto to say they have achieved something,

Anyway, only wanted em for showoff, remain's will be lotto'd then, tho i'll still pre-claim 8.10 cloth sleeves if they drop, QQ if you don't like that, won't claim anything else or participate in any lotto's.

If you don't like that, then run your own raids.

good choice... funnily enuff most people only want remains for their houses to show off just like you did.. and youd be suprised how many people turn up just for the remains... can easily add 1-2fg's on your raid of peeps wanting remains and stuffs.. esp the hard to get ones like Phoenix and Martikhora.

If youa ctually bothered to read his post, he posted that template for a person that asked for a temp using gov.

He says that that's the templte he's wearing atm and he's planning to use the Spoiled Brat 2.0.

I'd still want em, cause i like rare caster itams :]

I can slightly understand the whines on this one, since he hasn't actually organised the raids! Penlid organised the raids, posted details on various forums, bumped the FH posts and, basically, got all the interest for the ML rush.

Technically, he is just taking over the leading when the rush is half way done. And, imo, the hardest part of leading a raid is the pre-arranging stuff.

However, even though I slightly understand the whine on this thread, I still don't agree with it!

You don't like his rules? Don't come. It's that simple. Ofc you won't really be missed, since each raid has had 100+ people on it so far.

Hours of waiting for LDs, listening to whine about people not getting steps, and simply trying to get people to LISTEN. THat's not something everyone can do.

I am personally happy that Elvo is going to finish this ML rush.

This ML rush has been tirelessly promoted by Penlid since September 29th. This is not a simple run-through of a single ML raid, it's much bigger in vision than any PvE event I've ever seen (from end-of-beta event, through the Geersha invasion and up to current ML raids). In this particular instance, yes, I think motivating the entire realm over a six-week period was the single largest and hardest step.

A ML raid takes hours. Hours of waiting for LDs, listening to whine about people not getting steps, and simply trying to get people to LISTEN. THat's not something everyone can do.

Simply trying to get people to listen... You think it's hard to get people to pay attention for a few hours on the raid, yet you think it's easy to keep people's attention for 6 weeks leading up to the raids?

Personally, I think both are worthy of applause. But I do still believe that the hard part of the ML rush was generating the momentum in the first place.

I am personally happy that Elvo is going to finish this ML rush.

I'm 100% with you on this one. Re-read my post and you'll see that although I can understand the pre-claim whines, I don't support them. Raid leaders can do whatever the f*ck they like with drops, imo.

TBH i am not going on the MLs for loot or drops (but if i win something..big bonus) i just want to come away at the end of it with ML10 for my necro and my armsman. If i get that, and that alone..i will be 110% happy.

I didnt think they were that rare?

I did a ML8 ages ago and I'm pretty sure that 2 people in my grp got the above items and gave 1 to myself and 1 to a friend in the same group..

I thought they were ok'ish sleeves, dunno if I even have them in my template but since dinging RR5 on the wizzy I dont play him atm.
