Portugal plays fantastic on the last games plus the final is on Portugal but those dont matter on the final imo. Its an open game and we ll see what the result will be

As much as I admire their verve and pluck I do hope that Greece don't win the tournament. Ultra defensive, trying to pinch a goal and win 1-0 football is not very pleasing on the eye.

And yes I am an England fan, and yes I do recognise that Sven's men play the same way. Doesn't mean that i like it though :eek:

Well, I think the team is suffering from the David-Sven love affair which has been going on for quite a while now. The sooner Sven leaves and Beckham gets dropped (if his shite form continues) the sooner England might start challenging for championships again.

I agree, Sven isn't that good, but then our national squad has way less class than the other major teams. Our midfield cant compete with most.

Btw, Greece have been lucky to get to the final - if portugal play even half as good as they can, they'll win it.

Portugal have proven that they can play in this tournament though. When ST made the post about the French they were relatively lucky to even be in the quarter-finals. I think Portugal will win, honest opinion. Home advantage, quality players and high confidence will all be in their favour.
