aprox population in pryd after day 11 ?

There are a few who didnt like WoW ,wonder what will happen with us.

Now populatuion is around 1000, but sadly seems all are leaving, wot u think 300-400 online prydwen ? AFter 2.5 years playing here This is the first time i rly think prydwen gonna die. Any GOA GM can tell us what is their plan ? OR Goa hopes we play a server with 300-400 players In New Frontiers ..

What should the pryd players do ?

1. Move to Big server US / EU ?
2. Givv us /copychar

Its stupid play New frontiers without people around .

i am playing atm one server 1.60 patch with MUCH MORE action than pryd with old emain. that server lags x 6 compared with pryd but still ppl go play there beacuse is more fun and at least got people to fight.

We Moved to Avalon/Hibernia and RvR there is thrilling.

no ramble , and the guild who owns that server is a rr9-10 grp 4 sorc , 2 cleric 2 caba.

Anyway that server should be patched to 1.73 in aprox 1.5 month , but knowing the typical incompetence of Goa translating maybe can be 3 months of pure fun.

Hopefully it might be more viable with server clustering after WoW, but then we run into the problem of which servers to cluster? Would it be restricted to languages, or would it be viable for, say, an English server to cluster with a French/German/Spanish/Italian server? And if so, what happens with the CoC in regards to the language to use in public channels...?

Regarding WoW, I'm interested in it, but unsure whether I'll be actually playing it, as DAoC is all I need atm.

Btw don't merge us with Excal

I prolly would play in other server (German, French, US, whatever) but cba to lvl anything up (char, arti, ML). I hate it, hence won't play WoW as well.

Tbh a few things that has been said before... if they merged the servers mid and hib would have alot more albs to farm.... i hardly think a merge is the way to fix this... they need to think hard lol

although knowing mythic they wont do jack shit about it... they should let everyone play free for a year... maybe that will entice a few peeps back.. and hopefully get em to stay... fair few would only come back for the free year... but i guess it may get other peeps to try daoc for longer than the almigty "7 DAY TRIAL OF DOOOOOM".... thats just the way i think they should do it tho

Well whats happening in US is that if you have char's on more than one of the servers in a cluster and you log onto your mid/xxxxxxx char you log off and it starts a timer of 8 hours before you can log your hib/alb on xxxxxxx server in.

But tbh I dont see us getting any servers clustered at least not for a long time.

Don't see Prydwen ever going to merge with Excal seeing as Excal Albs have the biggest population and Alb/Prydwen also got the biggest population meaning the overpopulated realms just get more overpopulated..
Also if they merge Excal with Prydwen all hib prydwen players will become rr11 within 1 week as I have yet to see even high Realm Rank Albs on excal that are better than an average rr3 group on Prydwen.

I can see a snowball effect happening. WoW is released, at a guess pop on pryd goes to about 500, people become disillusioned due to rvr/pve grps being a tad empty, so more leave.

Clustering may be the only way for mythic to give the illusion things are still rosey - anyway I think warlocks will kill the game for me, simply down to shear fustration with the OPness,..

Not saying it won't, but I've been around long enuff to see things go full-cirle more than once in this game and wouldn't be suprised if many get bored of WoW just as quickly as many get bored of moving servers/realms.

Server clustering would give us the action that we will need when the population of all servers decrease. I'd rather get nailed by zergs regular (as far as you can speak of zergs at that time) then walking around meeting nothing at all.

Besides I think we can handle the amount of albs, the relative population difference shouldnt be that different when the servers are clustered.

The action has already began to decrease at prime times, its a matter of time towards server clustering.

I think the main thing keeping daoc alive for most peeps atm is Catacombs.

I dont wanna see prydwen die but i'm affraid im one of those moving to WoW.

logged in today and got ganked by 1fg mids on way to dock, was less than 8 albs actually rvring so quit and played camlann, wont be coming back to prydwen in a hurry ^_^

well, albion is the most populated realm on most servers be it EU or US... i say do clustering as excal / prydwen will be somewhat boring soonish (i moved from prydwen couse of that sort of a little back ago, now excal reminds me of that prydwen

)... maybe catacombs will help a bit, but dont place your bets on it imo. As someone said earlier RvsR on Avalon with 2k - 2.5k ppl on primetime is alot better, k maybe a bit much, but atleast something is happening ><
