Hi all

Now that most of the whiners have left, the cluster seems pretty much alive and kickimg I think.
There seem to be fights to be had most of the time, and the hard core people left are doing a good job keeping RvR alive.
The core playing hours seem to have decreased slightly, maybe from 9am-3am you can find people about, and in the evenings - there is always something going on.

I haven't seen many hibs about, have they mostly left or re-rolled alb toons?
There always seems to be plenty of albs about, and a small tough midgard contingent that wake up if we are really in the shit :>

At the moment, I think it's all good.

Sadly there are almost no fg's running at all (even pugs) - think we had 2 fg fights in a week but if you like the zerg then its buzzing for action.

The action on the Mid South Coast last night was zerg-siege-tastic and we just managed to save Bled (and the impending relic raid) after albs had already taken Hild and Blend so well done to the mids out that actually listened and followed and defended well vs the alb onslaught The push out of bled to kill the sieging albs was a nicely timed offense

yeah, i really enjoyed the last few days. nice action, lots of swinging battles, i like it like that.

i was kinda worried at 12.30 cet when i left the BG and went for a drink that over enthousiastic albs would end up taking relics, but non of that happened (phew).

Sadly this is all a matter of perspective imo, I would probably agree with you from a stealther perspective if I still played mine

There are next to no FGs about now, exception to the rule being some decent fights on Mondays in Agramon, but this seems to be every other week if you want more than just 1 group. This was the main problem for me before the AC raid stuff happened and a lot more people gave up (and I imagine this is a similar problem for other FGs that ran/ run regularly enough); there was nothing to kill, the Hibs disappeared completely and there was little to no Mids to kill. Obviously this affected more than the FG scene, you had to be blind to not notice it, I ran for almost 2 weeks hoping things would get better before realising Monday is probably the only day for decent action. Then the AC stuff happened and things became even worse

I would very much like the server to kick into life again, I sadly don't think that is the case atm, you said it yourself illu:

This statement alone proves the fact that the server isn't 'alive', to me anyway. I'm sure others will disagree but they'll have to accept that in my POV and many others I am sure, this server is far from feeling 'alive' atm.

This post isn't directed at making the situation worse either, hopefully everyone can turn this thread into something constructive. I am not one to say how great Avalon is and everyone should reroll there, as in actual fact I was happy on cluster up until everyone started to disappear. I also appreciate many are now having more fun as has been said a few times in other threads, but it is a double edged sword imo. I also agree that the people leaving the server have themselves to blame for the server population dropping (reasons aside), but it has been said many times now; the more people leave, the more others will want to leave

Lies, i managed to shear Magon's dex/qui 30-40 times in a keep raid last night, he got so annoyed he started using dex ring charges so i couldnt do it anymore. Custodia are in abundance still, they were powerleveling some warders though it seemed :<

Our group is out most night's but we rarely get any fg fights unless is apocolapse (sp?) the alb guild in blue, or a really tough mid guild which kicks our ass most of the time but i think we are probably one of the few hib groups about atm.
We arnt opted but we do ok

one person is having good fights on a stealther means the server is alive m8s



i heard pip and his warlock, hunter, bd and sm crew were having fun at brynja...... server is ALIVE !

it may be alive but its on its ass struggling to breathe from all the bullshit being put in its mouth

Hope we can meet up in Agramon more often then Not sure if you mean us (all black with rust cloaks) as id love to keep mondays at least as "Agramon Nights" as I know all of us in Team Conclave prefer those fg vs fg fun fights to the constant zerging and sieging which altho can be fun gets boring quickly tbh

I agree with you 100%, RvR has been largely fun, mostly enjoyable and certainly more peaceful now all the fg whiners and leetist have buggered off. I certainly have no complaints about the populations or RvR in general at moment.

Well we lost some players. But our new alliance is alive and trying to carry on giving some competition. Tho we are outnumbered we were able to get a wagonload of gamefun and realmpoints by bridgcamping, towercamping and hit and run tactics. Still we are not able to get our relics back...... need bigger numbers for that or some lame tactics

How is the soloing nowadays? Any point re-templating and trying to solo?

had fun over the past week or so the action seems to have been on the mid coast mostly have had a few pugs (alb) that have been fun, mostly been in alliance grps. the fights i have had 1v1 and fgvfg have been quite good fun and the zerg battles have been a laugh aminute plus there a lot less high RR fg running in and stream rolling every thing in sight so i have been able to play some of my lower RR toons and even took my BB out as the shearer for a grp or two. also it good that the late night players have stopped hitting relics and we(albs) have also been trying to do prime time raids and mids have defended with much skill and good leadership

all in all i'd say the server has stopped dieing cant say it's the best RvR cluster anymore but it got a chance to come back now

grats to all that still play on the cluster and a merry X-mass to all, i hope the new year brings us all good fight and lots of fun

its great tbh, that is if u dont mind being zerged... when u get to prime time there r just to damn many alb's out its hard to get fights, and if u stand to much around crau and kill ppl they tend to build up some mini grp's to kill ya

Not really.
I thought i was preety stubbon when trying to carry on soloing, but it got to much for me. I just respced to Bg'er and don't really attempt to try solo anymore, just wait for guildies to come on or for a grp to invite me........which i might add is rare.

solo rvr now is really good now imo.
tho thats cause of the keep takes, easy to take down the soloers that run around from keeps to keeps.

I agree, not nice to play solo with visible char. Tho duo with shade / ranger is more than better ^^

/aggree with illu, rvr being ok lately and still having loads of fun, even tho i would like to see more fg's outhere. As solo stealther i still manage to find people to fight, even tho i get zerged too quite often.
Didn't play with skald lately since i'm remaking is template so can't comment on visible solo action, last time i tried at DC 2 fg hibs chased me all over emain, so not sure it's a good sign

Hmmm...tempting to move back....but i aint...for now

To be honest, the relic bonus im not that bothered about, its the uber realm points from defending them I like

As for the other comments about soloing, I do not honestly believe its any better or any worse then it ever has been.

Soloing, specially as a visual or a visual tank has always been a masochistical pleasure, nice at times and frustrating the rest of the time. I don't think the adding or zergs is any better or worse then before, certainly no worse since NF began.
