For those that want to level up your 2nd or 3rd lvl 60 and want it done fast do the PL.

PL in Wow is much better than it was in daoc. When killing a mob it does a check your level vs target level and how many people that is in grp.
It does Not check the level of the ones grped with you. As a lvl 60 i can kill mobs with 2 insta dots and then move to next mob, that leads to 1 kill every 1-3 sec if you find a good spawn. Wola your PLed char will get xp 10-50x faster. You can do some quests also while PLing. With my warloc when QuestPLing i run around casting dots on all mobs we pass so we get good travel xp.

Arcane mage pulling a camp of greys then PBAEing them down in a couple of casts would probably be faster.

In beta i would group my lvl27 shaman with a lvl37 warrior friend, killing mobs around my level (usualy giving 120-170xp per kill solo) i would get no XP at all...

and if i went with the higher level to his usual questing spot the mobs would run from miles away to agro me and kill me in a few hits :/

You don't recieve exp if mobs con gray to someone in your group.

think the only way to pl someone is to let him tag high lvl mobs and then kill them.

i know when doing an instance recently with lvl ranges form 25 to 29 when the mobs were grey to the 29 but green to me at 26 i got xp for them when he didn't

And what's the point of powerlevelling when there is no end game as such? Take your time and enjoy the ride. Or even, maybe, play a bit less and take an English Language course *hint*

on usa our 60 lvl mage tried to pl a bit our late 40s priest
he said exp for priest sucked big time regardless of mobs he used (from grey con to even con)
you indeed get exp but not much

but the biggest problem was to find good camp since mobs spawn waaaay too long for good pl

Im a lvl 29 hunter and a m8 has started playing lvl 14 warrior if i took him to blackfathoms instance most mobs grey to me and i started to kill grey mobs would he get xp then??

Reason i ask is i want to get m8 closer to my lvl so we can grp up more

He would get some exp but it would likely be better for him to exp the normal way, and more fun. If you see yourself getting further from your mates cause you play more than them the best solution is either to limit your playing, or start an alt, so they have time to catch up.
We have this problem in my guild, with only me and one other in our mid fourties, and rest mostly not 30 yet. Ive tried to cut back on the time i spend on my main to let them catch up some

You could help your friend by letting him tag the mob then you kill it, and he will get the normal exp for it, but it would die really fast.

Atleast I think you can do that, tried it in beta.
You can't be in a grp togeather though.

Help your mate complete his quests. You kill the stuff for him when your grouped and he will get the quest xp at the end.

In the crypt at raven hill there is a drop called a spiked collar or something like that. When you use it you get a lvl 30 pet for 1 hour that fights for you. The item is unique but if you use it you can get another. They look to drop pretty often.3 or 4 lvl 30 pets fighting for you would be doable I would think.

Note: Don’t use one in the deadmines. I summoned the guardian and due to aggro range ( lvl 30 pet Vrs lvl 20 mobs) it set off like a bat out of hell and attacked everything that moved.

Best just to stay in cript cleaning it out as well as cementary on top and keep checking for his respawn, must say he must be the fastest silver elite to respawn.Got up to 6 of em and can chian kill at an increadible speed.

Talking about silver elites, kinda mad when killing a lvl 50 silver elite with around 200k hps and he only drops a sharp tooth ¬¬

See for me this didnt work.
cause i was on my lvl 30 priest pulling mobs and this 40 pally (fkin lvl 40s and theres 50s now! htf they lvl so fast mumble mumble) decided to come help me out. but i found that after i had pulled the mob and dmged it after the pally hit a few times it would grey out to me... and he said some of the time nto all would turn red to him.... so i was getting no xp.. im not sure if it was a bug or maybe it switched over as he was doing majority dmg or something but he was abasically stealing my mobs. we tried it a few times and it happend everytime.
not tried again since then, maybe it something new they have added or just a bug. i dunno but twas geah

Ive helped guildmate do deadmines when the mobs conned grey and they got a little xp but a LOT less than they would have if they did it just themselves..

Prolly having the alt tag the mobs then u kill it outside the group should work.. But doing quests for the alt is prolly the quickest way.. there are TONS of quests todo.... Humanland, Gnome/Dwarfland, Elfland quests (for alliance at least).

PL is rife in the US, but they used to use quests (get a high lvl quest on your lvl 60, share it with the person to be pl'd and do it) not sure if this still works, but for a time you could gain levels at a rediculous rate this way.

Can't share quests with people not eligible for the quest. So a level 60 wouldn't be able to share any quests with a level 10.

Tagging relies on you doing damage to the mob with a dd (holy or shadow one, doesn't matter) or your mace/dagger/staff. Dots don't tag mostly, and if you get resisted, you can't tag the mob.

i saw numbers coming off their heads then he would join and it would go to him. i think it was just a bug as me doing it to lower lvl guildies worked fine.
but i dunno.

imo the best way to earn exp is to get a decent grp and go to instanced that are around your level, you can easily get a level in an hour or so, when I was lv hmm 30-32 (i think) I went to Gnomeregen to do quest and after comming out i gotten like 14-15 bubs, took us abit over an hour. And i was suppost to get a great blade for too but a retard ''accidently'' rolled for it. but hell I got a really great cloth helmet with +17 (i think) int and some other states. :>

Instanced = great exp great drops =)

Let me remind you..PLing sucks arse. Not only do you miss alot of fun, you also miss alot of faction you gain from quests.
You can at higher lvls get quests only, if your known well of the quest givers faction. Same thing about you getting the -10% on stuff you buy.

Imo you just screw your char up by PLing...not that its hard to lvl it on your own through quests.
