Am not going to Planetside, fps bore the shit out of me now, i used to like them..

But, they are crap now, give it two weeks, and you would of done everything, waiting for a patch to add new stuff..

I'll just stick to me Rise of Nations! and daoc till i finally get me grubby mits of WoW.

dunno about doing everything in 2 weeks

yo got a wide varaity of vehicles... fancy of driving a tank? try sniping... bored of that, grab a reaver for some airborne action

You can respec a skill every 24 hours, thank god :)

If i want to do that, i can just play bf1942, for free or Tribes 2 for free...

And i can make it Smacktard free

yeah, but BF or tribes is limited in the number of people who can play, and cheating was rife last I played BF1942 ;)

As I've said before, I don't always remember to write down and check for everyone who wants to join our outfit. It might be a better idea if anyone who joined PM'd me just to say what their char names are.

Must be playing Vanu Sovereignty on Werner server.

(Tilda, this doesn't apply to you because 1. you're not sure if you want to join us and 2. I already know to look out for you! :p )

Which frankly is too high for what you get, Without more content I doubt players will pay that for long.

Don't doubt me. Its fun (and first month is in the ticket price of course) but as were all players of DAoC and other mmorpgs were used to more than never ending keep takes to keep us busy.

Which is what this game does so well.

Well, i played the beta..

Not me cup of tea..

We see how long Planet side stays cheat or Exploit free shall we..

Is it just standard FPS control systems with some extras thrown in, or do i need to drag out my flightstick to be a decent pilot? :)

Sounds pretty good, will need some more RAM though before I start playing it me thinks (256 atm).

its basic FPS conttrol... WASD and then mouse

airborne vehicles have a few more controls, but using a joystick is overkill I think

and 512 mb of ram is the minimum I think...

What sort of certs should I get on VS?

I want to be a killer, and don't want to be totaly dead when a MAX comes, but I for sure dont want to be MAX :p.

I dunno if I should just be a sniper, I find it fun.. whenever ive tried infantry I dont seem to last long before someone has killed me and im respawning :).

Also if you suggest that infantry is a good way so go.. which weapons ect.

well, seeing as the pulsar has been broken again.... they fixed it during beta, and now its back to its pre fix state

grunts aren't meant to last long

just do what you find fun

and if you're gonna be a grunt, get either engineering cert and the regeneration Implant, with exo armor and medium assault

Takes a lot to be a good grunt sadly :/
BR10 maybe

easier to get a MAX and rake up the BR's, and then become a grunt

Well max and extreamly unfun and TBH I find the AV VS max hard because of the slow fire :p

I played in beta, where you could get a 1-2 BR's a day.. heard they slowed down xp :/

shame the official PS forums remind me of the VN boards for DAOC

This euro server is a LOT better then american beta me and tilda and stuck in an epic sized battle atm :)

on a side note, what is a normal number of those greif pointsi did some shotgun action defence agains 2 Max's adn when i logged i had 316 :(

Krypt, will invite when I can catch you on, np about that.

You want to worry about grief points when you get messages warning you about it - I got to grief level2 today due to a rampage with a rocketrifle. o_O

How do you reduce your grief level by the way?
Friendly fire happens from time to time after all...

Heh yes.. when the dev's tested the retail servers to see if they all worked.. I got a 30 min lock INGAME time on my weapons .. grief level 3
