hmm wot can i say boot this one :) very... interesting! I like it, pretty individual style u got m8 with this and some of ur other tunes i've heard... nice spooky soundin tune, breakbeat percussion, sorta 'progressive' sounding dreamy spooky bits but sounds old skool with the breakbeats and a coupla sound samples, like early sorta soft 'hardcore' i spose. Not bad :) I had to listen in lofi tho as no time to DL with K56 and shit ISP :(

o yea for ur dance moosic and cheap speakers i will av to recommend Mission 701's from Richer Sounds for 70 notes. They go loud, they like bein driven hard, they is exciting, top for bangin tunez but nice and reasonably refined for mo' chilled music :)

Wow... amazing tune! I regret not listening to more of your stuff earlier! I love the way it builds from minimal beats and atmospheric riffs all the way up to full on breakbeat action, with clear crisp production throughout. The quality also sounded pretty good from what i could tell on lo-fi...

As for vocals... yeah I think they'd sound cool, providing you kept the original as it is now. Some strong echoey female vocals like in "inner city life" by goldie would sound cool here IMO, providing you got a girl to sing'em :)

aiight... This is some sweet shit charlie! I've played it a few times and I gotta hand it to you, you have talent. Seriously, try pulling together 4 of your best tracks (similar to this one) and shop 'em around. You might get a deal.

Try Contaminated Muzik (http://www.mixconnection.com) or Phatt Phunk Records (http://www.phattphunk.com).

cheers fellas :)

My setup is:

Roland PC160a controller
Korg Electribe 101 pattern sequencer (for them crazy ass acid stabs)
Propellerheads Reason 1.1
Rewire (connects reason and cubase together)
Cubase VST 5.2 and Instruments (Neon, Pro52 etc)
Soundforge (for sample editing)
Recycle (to get them wavs turned to rex so you can use em in the Dr Rex)
and a ton of Akai samples and sounds.

I've spent nearly a year building up my reason refills and sound banks. Thats the joy of Reason, if you're really up for it then you can get a whole library of shit together..

As far as the label stuff goes, I'm getting my own off the ground :) Plus I got crap ass speakers atm so I'm waiting to get some more so I can remaster.

Logic: I'll get round to checking yours out when I get 5 mins dude. I havent forgot, just been stoned (as ususal)..

I'm after a copy of Reason, but as I'm about to bugger off (again) it'll have to wait until I get back. Already got Rebirth, but I still aint got a fecking clue how 2 use it :p

I might already have Recycle, who makes it? I forget.
Got Soundforge, dead fine and they've just released version 5 I believe.

Rebirth is good fun mate - worth pissing about with it for a bit, not that useful for writing a quality tune on it's own imo. Unless you're going for early techno, in which case you'll never need another piece of software.;)
