Nerd Alert! You have been warned...

So I'm watching Thor Ragnarok now, and apart from Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet, the Beyonder, possibly Dr Strange, and celestials like the Living Tribunal, there aren't many who appear more powerful than Hela at her prime.

Just wondering whether Hela (in her Ragnarok prime) could defeat Galactus.

Normally the web has lengthy discussions relating to every conceivable match-off between MCU heroes and villains, from the comics and movies. But nothing on these two villains.

Shocking.

But more people on here than not voted tory - without whom we'd not be looking at this.

Got a good friend who's a senior manager at the EA. Even he acknowledges they're underequipped, understaffed and underfunded - unable to make any real difference. Also that we've *structural* issues (the standards to which we design drainage for example) that essentially mean it's almost impossible for us to improve without major investment.

Brexit means the Tories can change the rules and then tell us all how much we've improved against legal measures.

What, exactly, do you find funny about the above @Embattle?

I'd respect, maybe, a disagree. But "funny" is a cowards way of disagreeing - it says "I disagree, but I have nothing".

No it is funny because in one post you sound like Job and his imaginary friends list and the other you sound like Trump.

Small price to pay for arms sales to dodgy countries/governments.

You're right.

We've hardly had any role in destabilising any of those countries.
As much as the rest of europe and other countries. Its not just us. Therefore the migrants should not just be heading for the uk.

actually i thought international law was that refugees are obliged to seek safety in the first ‘safe’ country they get to. Not travel across the whole of europe and try to get to the uk because its a preference.

what i dont understand is why all these migrants want to risk the trip across the channel rather than stay in France. Well apart from the french people france is a tolerant civilised country. as safe and prosperous as the uk. So why do they want to come here?

lastly not all the migrants are coming from destabilised countries. Quite a few are migrants for economic benefit. The answer to that is to help those countries improve their conditions and infrastructure.

Or you stop being in denial and accept the reasons why they're leaving their country in the first place, rather than getting pissy about where desperate people decide as their final destination.

As I said in response to Raven, we send arms to other countries instead of money so they can suppress their people, maybe we could pressure our Government to pay them instead.

But nah, let's just do the easier option where we can become richer and if too many come we can blow them up :)

The reality is, our foreign policy, much like the US is so long as they give us the shit we need, we don't care.

Cause their countries are shit conditions and they want better. Simple enough?

I think you're being intentionally ignorant.

'They're in shit conditions'

'Why'

'Because they are'

OK.

Anyway, I'll stop clicking on 'show ignored content' because your boot-licking and inability to think for yourself makes a very boring conversation.
