EU folk are still being thick about Brexit (yeah, not their problem etc) not providing the correct information to get things through customs
Year-end still needs to be finalised and now moving into month end.

And my bosses brother died this morning, out of the blue, don't know the details, and he is officially uncontactable, absolutely fair enough. So looks like myself and a colleague are pulling 10-hour days tomorrow and Sunday to get everything squared away, I've already done 60 hours extra this month.

I'm going to buy myself something fucking stupid, seriously thinking about a down payment on a fucked canal boat. I can do the internals myself and can moor it about 5 miles away.

Oh I'm not even getting into the rights and wrongs of the case itself, but rather the simple fact the US routinely protects its own while not extending the same courtesy to others. If the roles were reversed and a British diplomat's wife ran over an American, she'd be in a US prison right now (I seem to remember an Indian diplomat's wife getting locked up because she underpaid her maid). The US routinely exercises double standards, not because the law says so, but simply because they can, treaties be damned.

Biden does have the power to send her back, and there's no legal barrier to that, but you know how it works, he'd need something from the British, and have something over the CIA, before he'd ever do that.

Not sure about that... The real world of spying is not like James Bond. Read books about the likes of Kim Philby etc, everyone knew who was who.

Every single app I've tried stops after playing one song, and doesn't play the next one
The options are too confusing on most of them for me to understand.
I'd also like the option to tell it which folders it can play from, and to be able to select which folders to play from in any order I choose.

I'm not interested in album art, video playback, or any other shit. I just want a basic mp3 player
If it can play wma files that would be ace.
Its got to have a dark theme. I hate white.
And its got to have a clean, minimal uncluttered interface
I don't want graphic equalisers, ads, or buttons everywhere that I don't need, or 12 screens of settings.

VLC. Go to folder with the files, click on the 3 dots on the first song and select "Play All".
And it plays everything you throw at it.

It's surprisingly difficult to find a music player that just plays local files and doesn't try to be some fancy bollocks streaming hub. I was using Google Play Music but that's been mothballed (I think it's part of Youtube now or something). I found Music Player GO, which works for me.

GP Music is now part of Youtube Music, which is Google's Spotify competitor, and is also absolutely fucking awful.

I don't do Spotify
I just want a clean simple offline app that plays audio tracks on my phone. I don't want to upload anything anywhere
I don't want it to recognise music, or have access to a trillion songs on line, or charge me a subscription, or recommend me an app cleaner in the settings bar, or link up with friends or social media, or recommend the best way to remove dental floss from a dog's arse. Just play songs.

I think I tried VLC a while back.
It doesn't recognise wma files (so I'll need to get two audio players - crazy) and when I open it, all my videos are displayed.
I'm only interested in audio files arranged in folders. Thats the only view I want.
I just want one app

That change YT Music really annoyed me at first since I couldn't figure out how to clear all my music from the queue at first.

That was basically all I wanted - play locally stored albums, proper m3u8 support and browse via Bluetooth in the car. It was surprisingly difficult to find something (free) that ticked all those boxes.
