I just don't understand the mentality behind it, are they jealous of people living in what is essentially a bedsit? Do they feel somehow threatened? I realise Britain first types are of limited mental capacity so probably feel their lifestyle of sitting in front of the TV with a 4 pack of stella is under threat...but come on.

They don't even do anything wrong to get it.

Imo, the telling thing is that lots of people home refugees in their own houses because housing is so short.

How many of those people home veterans that they bleat on about so much?

Also I'm sure the hotels thing is because of covid, much like homeless people are staying in hotels.

Earlier this year a foreign women stabbed a little British girl to death in a park in Bolton. Major news outlets reported that the killer was a Somalian Refugee, when she was Albanian. The Somalian story spread round right wings groups like wildfire.

They put a bunch of homeless people in the hotel in our village, the amount of whining from townies that have recently moved to the village was a thing to behold. Locals couldn't give a fuck. The homeless people were exploring the local area, was probably something very new to them to be out in somewhere semi rural. Found them to all be pretty friendly.

Not for much longer! Moving back in a couple of months. Have a consultancy gig lined up in UK. 18 years in Dubai plus another 2 years between Oman and Abu Dhabi I am done here. After 20 years the gratuity (pension savings) stops accumulating so with that and aviation on its arse it was time to come home. Going to give the consultancy a try and if that does not work out maybe retire, although not sure I'm quite ready for that yet. Still looking forward to going home.:)
