Felt sorry for them. Their second-choice striker started and their first choice is a Liverpool reject.

I watch a lot of the liverpool games and we suffocate the opposition. I didn't think Spurs were bad. I just thought we were much better. We force teams into making errors. Same old same old. Not a Tottingham problem.
I thought we were discussing Spurs aka Tottenham....

Liverpool were always going to smack Spurs about. Angeball doesn't work against a team like Liverpool.

Cracking end to a curtain drawn on the Merseyside Derby at Goodison, it felt like a battle of old.

Scenes at full-time though, woosh. Every thread I've seen, no matter what media is full of immense bitters though.

How dare the players (and fans) have the audacity to celebrate a game of that historical magnitude!

Ends up draws all round at Goodison. I thought Everton were the better team until our second goal.

Dumb fighting, but I can't help but enjoy a mini pitch invasion over a draw and the red cards all round. It's almost as if it was planned :)

Meme I saw on facebook or whatever.

Final Merseyside derby at Goodison, against the runaway leaders, and a centre back bangs one in on the 98th minute. If you don't get that, you don't get football.

We're now virtually the same points away from European places as we are from a relegation battle!

Also yes, the fact we're above Spurs and United at this point, I would have taken that at the beginning of the season... Just not thinking they'd be down there
