Very polished game, thought it was excellent. The only bum notes for me were the camera angle behind the character and some sort of directional indicator to quest objectives would have been nice, but then I have been playing Skyrim a lot.

I love the skills for the consular, but can't say the starting area was very exciting. Also it was a little serious... might well go for smuggler now. Although, that said, the jedi starting world was about four times as busy as the one for troopers and smugglers.

Well i said before the beta i would only play to test out how my laptop would run, but the game is so good i'm gonna keep playing.

All the boxes are ticked for me with this game so far something an MMO hasn't been able to do for a long long time and i see myself actually subbing past the first month which i haven't done since WoW.

Cool game.

Yay got my sabre just at the quest you logged at Aada, and I got companion and made it bright red lol. But yeah good fun I thought, been looking for a decent rpg/ co-op rpg to play but think I'll just play this casually now. Just got lvl10 so will try some pvp tomorow morning hopefully.

Im enjoying the game so far. It is a wee bit laggy and overheats my laptop but it plays well enough. Playing the inquisitor but not decided if i will go the class i plan to play or another. I am NOT listening to the videos, dont want to ruin the story and see it with crappy gfx ... saving that side for the release.
Level 9 or so now and just been sent somewhere after a chat with Nash or whatever her name is. Im sure she got the hots for my Twilek woman :D

Seems ok. pvp was a bit 'meh' regarding the football match. Not keen on the quests as it's exactly the same as any other mmo (could live with that if it was not for the most boring long winded cut scenes).

We are close to 60 players now and so we shall be deploying soon to claim a spot on a PvP server for early access launch. If anyone is interested in applying then please do so within the next week. The guild is formed by a core of former Lords of England, The Last Watch and Servants of the Lake members with a couple of Celtic Fist thrown in for good measure and a bunch of people we met in Warhammer. Oh and Chodax is guild leader.

Uhm, is it me only or can't you travel with the spaceships to any other place then Korriban and Hutta?

I got quests telling me to go somewhere else, some capital city and I cannot get on the connection tube out of that system ( interstellar fleet or w/e it is called, simply not working when clicking it once in orbit at the space ships in the hangar area ).

Also my regular trainer down in Hutta for Bounty Hunter will not train my advanced level 10+ skills so what gives?

Trooper was more fun to play than Sith warrior, but still having to wait through all those awfully boring dialogues is well... boring. Is there any way to skip them? Or get straight to the choices (often which are of no consequence, usually only the last in a chain gives dark or light points)

i'm trying to decide which healer to play, so far i've been playing sith inquis/sorc which seems fairly strong :) smuggler healing is meant to rape sorcs tho. that said I was able to solo The Black Talon flashpoint which was quite fun, especially when the bosses had 6-14k life each.

So angry

Anyways, the dialogue is completely inconsequential, it's just flavour to the game, and poorly written ones at that (the voice acting however is quite good). In the end, it's "roleplay" that is kinda half-assed and forced upon the players.

As in you + companion? Thought flaspoints were group content for 4

So all you guys can travel to all the other planets and spec in your advanced lines? Or is this just restricted in the beta so you basically cannot try the game out any more after the 1st crap planet and 10 boring levels?

Hit spacebar to skip dialogue lines. Don't think you can do anything else to make it faster. I've done it a bit when playing a different character through the same side quests. I really enjoy the dialogue though, the first time through!

no, just so bored of people pissing and moaning about a game genre they dont enjoy, yet force themselves to play, and piss and moan about.
If you want insta pew pew, go play CoD. If you dont like PvE, why bother playing MMOs? i really dont get it ?

Err, I enjoy both RPGs and MMO's as much as any fan of those genres. I also play pen&paper RPGs. It's just that these dialogues are extremely boring. The gameplay so far has been very much like WoW and quite enjoyable, especially the Trooper.

mabs alot of the guys on FH are ex daoc players they grew up on a mmo that was based around PVP not PVE you probably know this the likes of cod and bf3 just dont compare to a large scale mmo battle they really dont.

that been said most mmos these days are not touted as a pvp experience which is unfortunate the only one to look forward to in that regard is planetside 2 imo

SWTOR has been heavily touted for its storyline and pve content tho to whine about this element of the game is mind boggling
