Very tempted by Max Pain 3, £14.99 I know it looks shit but might kill a few hours.

Bought tomb raider for £2.49

Bought MP3 for that price, £15 just under 2 months or something after release? I'll take it.

At just short of 30gig it must have some nice graphics and long cut scenes.

max payne 3 got hammered in reviews, apparently its bugged to fuck and back :\

pity, i liked the first 2

max payne 3 got good reviews over all. the first 30 mins its ok but it gets much better after that. it also gets harder as you go along which is great imho. as far as thirdperson games go its easily better tan gears of war

story wise tho i think Remedys Max payne3 would have had max continue his spiral into insanity and prolly his death. rockstar did decent take on it but for me the best bits were the flash back bits with him in new york.

got trine 2 earlier today, but missed out on darkstalkers:/ also buy arma 2 @ 20% or hold till or if it drops a bit at some point? i am really itching to play day z

The thing with Dayz right now is its worse than what it was 2 months ago feels a lot more buggy.

Don't. You're going to be playing a movie. The majority of the game is just cut-scenes after cut-scenes after cut-scenes, and most of them you can't even skip because they are tied to the loading screens, and they have deliberately slowed down the loading JUST so you will HAVE to watch those cut-scenes...

I never said i disliked cut scenes, it all depends on how they are being used...

But watch TB's "WTF is..." of Max Payne, he explains it better then i can.

And i never played MGS...

So you don't mind being interrupted mid action by a cut scene? And having cut scenes every 30 seconds at times?

But yeah you're right, for that price it's worth it.

Nope i don't mind because the cut scenes go well with what you are doing.

Look if the game didn't have the fantastic cut scenes it would just then be another 3rd person shooter, It's these cut scenes tied with the great dialogue that make Max Payne 3 more than just that it's another Rockstar classic as far as i'm concerned and they did a great job.

People who don't like a lot of cut scenes in their games won't like this, but so far for me i am having an absolute blast.

Am on chapter 4, this game is dark,gritty and your on Max Payne's roller coaster into hell.

Just got past the strippers my wife wasn't impressed either when she saw some whore on a bed getting banged.

12 hours and i finished it superb game, loved every second and the story was pretty good as well 9/10.
