But I ask myself......."for the better or worse?"

A lot of lamers from other forums just can´t let us be for our self here. They MUST interfere and take action against our posts.......what kind of "LIFE" is that they live??

Firstly, Barrysworld Forums all make up one large community. There is no segregation between individual forums on the board. If someone is misusing and generally abusing the privilege of online anonymity via the forums, no-matter WHERE they are doing it, they are enforcing immorality by breaking the forum rules and deliberately irritating other members. I've been with these forums for some time now, and though I am not a moderator, I always like to make sure that content remains as constructive, informative, useful or entertaining as possible, in order to make BW forums a pleasant place for both myself and the many other members who use them. When someone acts like an idiot, they'll get my personal opinion on them, why they are such a nuisance, and in some cases (like yours,) a report to a moderator.

About the 'being yourself' case, using the boards as a place to have fun with others online is fine. However, moronic behaviour is going to severely piss off the mature majority of users, and indeed the admin; do you think they created this place for people like you to fill it up with mindless spam? You can probably have humourous discussions with friends in lesser-used forums (like this one) without annoying any others whatsoever, but your thread, predominantly, was just you posting repeatedly and unnecessarily, often by yourself, with inane drivel passing as content, all for the sheer purpose of getting a high post-count. If your post-count us higher than someone elses, it DOESN'T make you better than them; it just means:-

- you have been around longer than them, which in your case isn't applicable.

- you have more to get off your mind than others.

- you post alot more mindless and worthless content than those who use the boards constructively.

Lastly, I found your comment regarding "what kind of "LIFE" is it that they live" simply ludicrous. If other people feel the occasional need to spread some intellectuality or humour, give help to others, or ask for help themselves, WITHOUT being overshadowed by morons taking the limelight by posting insane amounts of crap, then I consider that to be perfectly normal and reasonable. I would also question what kind of life YOU lead if you felt the need to take all that time racking up 700+ posts worth of spam on a messageboard, and deliberately irritate others in the process, without good reason.

I've tried my best to be reasonable and fair, and hope you've taken this post seriously. I REALLY don't want to see that kind of behaviour again, and share the view with the majority of Barrysworld's regular users.

We have been over a lot of this - and I think everyone agreed that it should not have been done.

I touched on this - but I think the fundamental difference in the two forum 'cultures' is that Jolt tolerates spam. They even have a spam forum. Read into this what you will - but the argument quickly esculated and lost the point.

To quote SomeGuy - we are all gamers at the end of the day.

Your spam thread has been the single most annoying thing on BW forums for quite a bit. I know that jolt forums have a near identical thread, but what did you think you would achieve by mimicking that thread here?

You are, as everyone is, welcome to join the BW community ( I am a member of the Jolt boards too) but to come straight in here with the explicit purpose of posting pure bollox not designed to elicit any response other than abuse is not clever or funny.

Nuff said.
