So PSN was back up a few days ago, and the Welcome Pack is enabled now.
It's straightforward to get your free shiz.
Sign into the Store.
There's a panel saying "Welcome Back" on the right.
You need to click on the "Free PS3 games" first to enable the free game downloads.
Now pick your two games from:
I chose inFamous for myself and LBP for the kids. I'm already playing Portal 2 co-op with my eldest and my other daughter is now asking if she can play games. I thought LPB was an innocuous introduction.
- Dead Nation
- inFamous
- Ratchet & Clank
- Little Big Planet
- WipeoutHD & Fury
You also get 30 days free PSN+ if you want, which might be worth it for the free games for a month.
PSP owners also get a choice of 2 games from a choice of 4.
Apparently there are also 3 free rentals of movies.
...but you've only got till the 5th to get them.
- House of the Dead 2
- Resident Evil Degeneration
- Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within

Because I can read, and am not stuck up Sony's arse.
I think the major difference here is that Sony stored everything in plain text (and probably still do if the Sony movies website is anything to go by!) and Nintendo didn't.
tbh i was expecting them to make someone a scapegoat, especially after recent events.thats what gets me the most about the whole thing. you'd expect the peeps who were in charge of that to get thier nuts clipped.
you now all thier claims about stuff does not seem that far fetched now
