aw you can do game updates and get the latest fw but our region isn't up yet
Then I'm going to slam on a DAMN strong password unique for PSN.
That's not gonna help if Sony allows themselves to get hacked again.
Hopefully that security firm cracked the whip and actually made it secured.
i'l see if i resub to EQ2 once the free month is up, i don't quite trust Sony enough to give them my new CC info.
You took the key word to be strong.
The key word is unique. No other site uses the same password as the one for PSN.
In fact the password is now different for every site I have a login with (thank you LastPass).
Yes it will.Yes sure, but unique password or not still won't help if Sony gets hacked again and steal your new CC info.
Zenith.UK said:That is what I've been hearing from all my friends who are on PSN. Never using a card with them again. Top-ups or vouchers only from now on.
That's really where I'm getting to with mine tbh Raven. I only just bought it but if I can't get my new Proliant NAS to compensate for the shitty playback support of the PS3 then it's getting a mod.

Thank you for your support and keep checking back on the blog for more information.

Corrected. User error my arse.Mine plays just about everything I transcode for it.
just about everything
I'm guessing after this Sony will probably be one of the safest places to leave any personal data.
Famous last words?![]()
It will be a massive target and it really wouldn't surprise me if they got busted open again. As I said earlier in the thread, Sony will probably throw massive resources at their security issues now. They have a reputation to rebuild, and frankly anything but the highest security measures they can find/develop would be silly at this juncture. Of course exceptional security could also be seen as a challenge, especially if Sony continue on their current path.
