Why not? It's not like I use it for all the stupid lighting, but having proper, back lit mechanical keys is a must for me and the rest of it comes with it anyway, I have most of it turned off except the keyboard and speakers, but when the software is on the fritz it goes mental.

For example, amazing speakers and the light is actually pretty cool, nice soft lighting.

What'd shut them the fuck up is if everyone stopped coming to Wales - then they could watch it go right down the fucking plughole. Because it rains all the time here in Oirland, I often get reception issues with our satellite dish. So a friend recommended getting a rain cover for the lnb. Bought one, clambered up the ladder to install it, and...it completely kills the satellite signal when it rains. Giant fucking waste of time.

Is it one of the ones that can slide up or down to protect the cable connections underneath the LNB? I don't see how such a thing could interfere with the signal unless you knocked the dish off axis a bit when you installed it...

And it is true that weather can affect the signal... we have to use a 1.2m dish down here to pick up UK telly and the signal strength/quality will sometimes go to shit if it's pissing down.

I could move back to Virgin for TV (I've just ponied up for an upgrade to 1GB cable, so we'll see what speeds I actually get when the new modem arrives), but last time I was with them their stb was terrible. For all their flakiness in wet weather, Sky Q boxes are really good.

Have you considered getting one of those sky glass thingies? No dish and no box, although I guess should your connection drop, no TV.
