Quake3 True Combat mod added to Clan and Bookable servers

We've now added Q3 True Combat to our clan servers and bookables. True Combat is a realism based mod with a number of gamemodes, notably mission where you must complete a number of objectives while the opposing team tries to prevent you from succeeding. Featuring realistic combat including bleeding and real weapon sights it's proving quite popular. Read all about True Combat at it's homepage at http://www.planetquake.com/q3t/.

You can download the files from our FTP. You need True Combat 1.0 and also the 1.0a patch.

Yeah GAME/BW is now a subscription based service, but like i say we don't have a subs server up anyway. There is a staff clan server running it (which is public and open to anyone) at the moment though to judge load and popularity, and anyone with an existing or new clan server can run it also.

Pay 2 Play

No I didn't know they had to pay 2 play but I do now. Obviouosly it's up to each user what they want to do. I would pay for the courtesy of playing such a great mod on a very fast server

Tell you what, Ive installed True Combat, but although Ive patched it I cant join 1.01 servers, only the original ones
Ive unzipped to the root quake 3 directory, and also to the True Combat file, but it makes no difference.
Any ideas why anyone ?

That may help you: in the main menu, hit ~ to reach the console. Type:

set g_TeamBlue "Beta"

press "Enter"

set g_TeamRed "Alpha"

press "Enter"
